Area 8: 2024 Mounted Games Competition is being organised by Essex Farmers Pony Club and the booking agent is Equine Bookings
Mounted Games competitions are comprised of several relay style races requiring riders to pick up objects while in the saddle, weave through a series of poles, hand items off to teammates, and dropping objects into buckets. Teams are made up of 2-5 riders of the same skill level.

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.
The Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. There will be a Vet on Call but NO Farrier. Refreshments will be available to purchase. Dogs must be on a lead at all times.
A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Vaccinations must be in accordance with the Pony Club Mounted Games Rule Book 2024.
Each team must provide two Line stewards per team and must be present for Line Judge Briefing.

Insurance
The Pony Club ‘Public and Products Liability Insurance’ Policy includes cover for all the official Area Competitions and the Championships. Details of this insurance are available on The Pony Club website.
In the event of any accident, loss or damage occurring to a third party or to the property of a third party (including the general public and competitors) no liability should be admitted, and full details should be sent at once to The Pony Club Office.
