Horses Events organises a number of Horses Trials each year in Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Worcestershire & Gloucestershire. We are always looking for event volunteers.

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the sport whilst enjoying a day out in the fresh air, its a great way to spend a day catching up with a friend or even meet new ones.

No previous experience is necessary for some of the roles and full training is given.

The Minimum age is 14 to be left onsite, younger children can attend but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The are many Roles to be involved with

  • Dressage Writing

  • Dressage stewarding

  • SJ Stewarding

  • Pole picking – Organise a group of pole pickers and receive a £100 donation to your chosen charity.

  • XC start

  • XC Stewarding

  • Fence Judging

  • Secretary

  • Scoring

  • Parking or road crossing

I have had such great fun at every event,

I have been made to feel so welcome by everyone and have found myself a new eventing family.

For helping ALL Volunteers receive:

  • Full Hospitality throughout the day, Breakfast roll, Lunch & Plenty of cake.

  • A choice of vouchers for helping from XC Schooling to Rug washing and Cafe vouchers.

  • Clothing Points to receive Branded Horse Events Clothing which cannot be bought.

  • Charity donations to each team of pole pickers provided each day. – provide us with at least 4 pole pickers for a days eventing and receive £100 for your cause.

I have learnt so many new skills and gained valuable experience and knowledge along the way.

I love volunteering as it helps keep unaffiliated one day eventing keep going, I love seeing the huge difference we can make to the competitors and sharing their achievements with them.
