Area 3 Blue Cross Junior and Senior Horse and Pony Care Qualifier is being organised by Louise Jones and the booking agent is Equine Bookings
This competition is an opportunity for teams to demonstrate their knowledge and practical horsemanship skills. This is the Area 3 competition, a qualifier for the Championships.

Junior questions / practical tasks at this qualifier will be based on the Care section of the D, D+, C and easier parts of the C+ efficiency test cards and horsemanship achievement badges.
Senior questions / practical tasks to be based on the Care section of the C+, B and AH Efficiency Test Cards. Questions at AH level will be used sparingly as not all Branches / Centres will have AH Test level competitors.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

Names of individual competitors may be changed up to the date of the competition, but there must be 3 in a team. There is no limit on the number of teams that a Branch / Centre may enter in each class. Results will be posted online at Pony Club Results. Qualifying places will be awarded to the highest overall scores in each class at the end of that class. Should numbers permit, each class will be split into sections with a maximum of 10 teams in each section. Branches / Centres entering multiple teams will be in the same section. Placing rosettes will be presented in each section. Full details and rules of the Horse and Pony Care Competition can be found in the Pony Club Horsemanship Rulebook 2024.
Entry to venue is opposite the Ling Bob Pub. Dogs are not permitted anywhere on the site. No smoking / vaping on site.
Health & Safety
Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occuring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.

Entries are only accepted on this basis.
