Rallies typically start at 10am and include two ridden and one unmounted session over 3 – 4 hrs – please arrive in time for a prompt start, and help with the set-up and break down so we start on time and coaches/committee/volunteers are not left to do the job alone.

Rallies typically start at 10am at the venue (if this is not the case you will be informed prior to the day) – please arrive in time for a prompt start, and help with the set-up and break down so the coaches and committee volunteers are not left to do the job alone. Rallies typically last 3 – 4 hours depending on content. Normal rally format is for two Ridden sessions (approx 1 hr each) and an unmounted training session (Badge work or preparation for Tests). Rally groups will be put together according to ability/needs of the partnership, and also take into account the test levels being worked on/forthcoming competitions. Rallies currently have three pricing options: Mini/Lead Rein – £20.00 per session + non-refundable booking fee Off Lead Rein, – £25.00 per session + non refundable booking fee Novice to Senior – £25.00 per session + non refundable booking fee Select the option on the booking page that is appropriate to your level /partnership. Typically rallies will include 2 of the following ridden activities – Flatwork/Dressage, Polework, Gridwork, Show Jumping Skills, Cross-Country skills, or Mounted Games and we also hope to run some Polocrosse training sessions – these will be announced. Clothing: Hats must be approved standard and have the correct up to date PC tag on. If yours does nor then find the Committee member in charge and they will be able to check your hat and get it tagged. Fixed peaks are not allowed for XC.
Hair must be tidy. If long, hairnets should be worn or it needs to be tied up in bun fashion so that it is not trailing down. Plain coloured jodhpurs/breeches. Silks, gloves etc.. White Shirt and PC tie or dark tidy sweat shirt/polo shirts (SNPC have their own which you will find at http://www.gggear.co.uk/south-norfolk-pony-club-91-c.asp – but they are not mandatory). HOODIES MUST NOT BE WORN.
Boots: Jodhpur boots (with or without chaps) or Long boots should be worn and should be brown or black.
Liability: Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Health and Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
