About this Rally

Novice ‘Have a Go – Just For Fun’ Mounted Games Competition! Open to all 12 & Under.
Riders will be placed in teams of 4-5 with a ‘Team Trainer’ to look after the team. Parents are welcome be in the ring with the children. Novices can be lead, assisted or riding independently. The aim is an encouraging fun afternoon for the whole family to enjoy!

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

What to wear… Riders? No Bibs… No Problem! Please wear cream jods, shirt & tie and your green Pony Club sweatshirt. Team bibs will be provided. What to wear… Ponies? Your green Branch saddle cloth. Novices are very welcome to use grass reins, nose nets or balance straps. Correctly fitted Daisy Reins are also useful for small children who don’t have the upper body strength to outsmart cheeky ponies as they dive for grass. Ponies may be ridden in any normal riding bit with a single rein, excluding English gags and bit less bridles

On site Facilities

Catering van will be in attendance for hot & cold drinks and food (…as well as the all important CHEESY CHIPS)

Entries are only accepted on this basis.

Health and Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
