Eligibility: Must be a current member of The Pony Club
(For Barrier Animal Health Spring Festival Area 4 and 5 Arena Eventing Qualifying Competition to be held in 13th March 2022)
Area 4 and 5 qualified riders will be eligible for the Area 4 and 5 Qualifying Competition on 13th March 2022.

All entries should be made online using www.horse-events.co.uk.
Entry Fee:
Classes 1a, 2, 3, 4: £26 (includes Pony Club levy)
Class 1b: £25
For Pony Club entries you will need your membership number & Branch/Centre to enter a qualifying class.
Horse and rider changes before the closing date can be made online by logging into your Horse Events account and editing your entry under the my booking tab.

Substitutions as The Pony Club Eventing Rule Book 2020
SUBSTITUTIONS of horse/pony or rider will not be accepted at Area or Championship competitions.
Withdrawals & Refunds

Full refunds will be given up until the closing date of the competition
After the closing date no refunds will be made without a Doctors or Vets certificate produced no later than 24 hours after the event. If produced after this no refunds will be given.
Refunds where due after the closing date are subject to an admin fee of: £5
In the event of abandonment 50% of the entry fee will be refunded.

Individual rosettes to 6th place in all classes. 1st – 6th from each Area per class to qualify for Area 4 and 5 Area Qualifying Competition on 13th March 2022.
There will be an unmounted presentation after each class. If competitors are unable to stay, a Branch representative may collect rosettes / sheets or competitors can provide a stamped, self-addressed envelope so that rosettes can be posted.

Please ensure your members comply with 2021 eligibility, hat tagging, body protector and medical armband rules and responsible adult present.

Late entries may be accepted at the organiser’s discretion. Late Entry Surcharge £5
Queries may only be raised via the Secretary by the DC or their appointee. Protests / objections will be managed as per Rule 5.
Open to individual Pony Club Branch and Centre Members.
Please note non-members of The Pony Club are allowed to compete in any Preliminary Round (if held) but must become fully paid up members to compete at their Area Competition.
Riders cannot compete in more than two classes per day. Horses/ponies cannot compete more than once in each class or in more than two classes on the day.
70cm class 1A- Riders in this class must be aged 14 years and under on 11st January 2021.
Competitors may qualify a maximum of two horses and/or ponies for any one Championship Class. Riders/horses/ponies and/or combination of horse and rider can qualify for more than one Championship Class.
PASSING DOWN THE LINE – In the event of a competitor being placed in a qualifying position when they have already qualified for the Area Competition the place may pass down the line provided that the next placed combination has jumped a clear round in the first round.
Saddlery and Dress – XC compliant kit and saddlery should be worn. The PC saddlery and dress rules apply at all Area and Championship competitions.
A Member may compete at Preliminary Rounds in any Area, but they MUST go to their own Area Competition.
Photographic Rights – competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.
A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Vaccinations must be in accordance with the Pony Club Arena Eventing Rule Book 2020.
Event Booking Information
This event is being organised by Chipping and Haydock Park. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.

Entries are only accepted on this basis.

Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
