ENTRIES

All entries should be made online using www.horse-events.co.uk.

Paper entry forms will be emailed to each branch but are for your personal records only as all entries must be made online.

Entry Form B to be submitted online with full payment by 3rd July.

It is the Team Manager’s responsibility to liaise with their DC to ensure they can sign off the combinations entered as eligible members.

Entry feesAll Area classes £70 which includes a £1.50 non-refundable booking fee per entry.

No separate start or paramedic fee will be due.

In the unlikely event of the abandonment of the event, £5 per entry will be retained by the organising branch to contribute to costs.

Substitutions

After the closing date for declarations (3rd July) substitutions may only be made as per P.C. Eventing Rules 2019.
Until times are produced and published on the 10th July, all changes should be made in writing via email, to info@horse-events.co.uk. Details for later withdrawals or changes after July 10th should be made to the organiser, Claire Daly at chickdaly2000@gmail.com

Eligibility

Details of eligibility for PC110, PC100, PC90 and PC80 qualifiers, and the number of Teams / Individuals qualifying for the Championships can be found in The Pony Club Eventing Rules 2019. Classes are open to all eligible Branch and Centre members of the Pony Club. Team Managers are confirming eligibility on behalf of the DC by completing B form entries and it is their responsibility to ensure combinations are eligible for the class entered.

Combined Teams

In PC 100, 90 and 80 classes we will place individuals into a combined team who will then be able to compete as a team in the team competition. That team will not be eligible to qualify for the Championships, but can affect the number of teams which qualify. In the PC110 class combined teams put together by the Area Representative and/or Area Organiser can qualify for Championships and the next placed branch/centre team will also qualify. Please indicate on the Entry Form B if an individual does not wish to be placed in a team

PRIZEGIVING

There will be a separate prize giving for each class and times for these will be posted on the scoreboards. If in exceptional circumstances you are unable to attend please see the organiser – non-attendance is disrespectful to our generous sponsors, hosts and organising team.

Times & Course Walk

XC course open for walking from 2pm on Friday 12th July and with caution during the competition. Please note the park gates are locked at 8.00pm.

Dogs to be kept on leads.

Times will be issued online at www.horse-events.co.uk on Thursday 11th July after 6pm

ENTRY CONDITIONS:

1. To be run in accordance with Pony Club Eventing Rules 2019
2. Please ensure your members comply with 2019 eligibility, hat tagging, body protector and medical armband rules or responsible adult present.
3. Paper numbers will be provided but members should have their own number bibs.
4. Starting times will be emailed out to team managers and will also be available on the websites: www.burghleyponyclub.co.uk and www.horse-events.co.uk by Thursday 11th July 7pm latest.
5. Late entries may be accepted at the organiser’s discretion.
6. Queries may only be raised via the Secretary by the DC or their appointee. Protests / objections will be managed as per Rule 5.
7. The schedule for the Non Area Classes running in conjunction with this competition will be available from www.burghleyponyclub.co.uk
8. No horse will be allowed to compete in 2 classes over the weekend, but riders are welcome to enter Non Area Classes on different horses / ponies, subject to eligibility.
9. Photographic Rights – competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.
10. A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Vaccinations must be in accordance with Rule 23 of The Pony Club Eventing Rule Book 2019.

LEGAL LIABILITY:
Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of the event nor The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord, his tenant(s) or his licensee accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

HEALTH, SAFETY & WELFARE:
Organisers of Eventing Competitions take reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser and all the Officials and Stewards.

This event is being organised by Burghley Pony Club. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.

As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.

We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
