About this Event

Schooling sessions available over flagged courses (80cm, 90cm, 100cm and 105cm).  These are the courses that were set up for our ODE last Sunday which sadly had to be cancelled due to the weather.

Please Note:  there will be grazing sheep on the site on Monday

Additional Details

Your booking will be for a 1.5 hour session (no more than 4 riders per session). There will be a Suffolk Pony Club member present on the site for any queries, but there will not be any paramedic/medical or vet presence.

Rules

PLEASE READ BEFORE ENTERING All riders must have hats (correctly tagged) and body protectors which comply with current Pony Club/BEF Rules. Non-compliance will mean no participation and no refunds. N.B. NEW BODY PROTECTOR RULE FOR 2024 –  ALL BODY PROTECTORS MUST MEET BETA 2018 LEVEL 3 STANDARD (BLUE & BLACK LABEL) No recording devices attached to crash hats/helmets permitted. Times will be strictly adhered to so that we can ensure safety for all those attending. Spectators please be aware of other horses on the course. All those using the course MUST have their own public liability insurance. All riders MUST be accompanied by an adult. Please report any fence damage or accidents (no matter how minor) to the SPC Committee member present. No vehicles may be taken onto the course (including any instructor’s cars) No horses or ponies to be left unattended in the lorry park. Please remove any droppings in the lorry park. All gates must be closed immediately after use. Dogs MUST be on a short lead at all times in all areas of the site (including the lorry park)

Legal Liability: Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

Health & Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
