About this Event

Ride across 10 miles of beautiful Warwickshire countryside. There is an optional shorter route, approx 7.5 miles. Plenty of optional jumps to choose from, as well as drinks and biscuits mid way!

Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Full refund up until withdrawal date, after withdrawal date refund only if replaced from the wait list.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of £5.00 per horse and rider combination (Booking fees are non refundable)

Additional Details

Adults – £25.00 Children (under 16) – £20.00 Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

We will accept cash entries on the day, these tickets will incur an additional £5 charge per ticket.

There will be a disclaimer to sign before you set off, and we ask for a £5 refundable deposit for your number bib.

The longer route will involve a minimal amount of public road work, whilst the shorter route avoids any public road work. The route will be well marked, with Marshalls around the course to ensure you stay on route.

We will have a photographer on course, with photos available to buy afterwards.

We will have a complementary refreshment stand mid way around the course, but there will also be the option to buy food and drinks at the start/end.

There will also be toilet facilities available at the start and end. Please note there will be no horse washing facilities at the event so please bring your own water and any equipment needed.

Terms and Conditions

The event takes place under the terms and conditions of the Stratford and Studley Young Farmers Fun Ride, as follows:

We strongly advise the wearing of back protectors but you may ride without one at your own risk. Hats complying with current safety standards are compulsory.

Horses/ponies must be at least 4 years old, and in adequate fitness/condition to partake in the ride.

Riders take part entirely at their own risk, and all children, whether riding or not, are the sole responsibility of their parents or carers or responisble adults acting within the agreement of their parents and carers.

All riding participants have a duty of care to all other participants and should report any health & safety concerns to the organisers.

All jumps are optional. If you chose to jump it is at your own risk.

Please follow the marked route and do not go on any crops. Polite passing is allowed on the course.

The Stratford and Studley Young Farmers, the Owners of the Property, the Organisers, all Persons and all Organisations involved in this Ride disclaim any liability for damage, injury or death to person, horse or property that may happen from any cause or circumstance, or for any legal procedings arising. All participants and other interested parties are responsible for making their own insurance arrangements.

The organisers reserve the right to cancel the ride on or before the day for any serious health and safety reasons. In the event of cancellation, the entry fee will be refunded less a £5.00 admin fee.

In addition:

Anyone attending the event should take care around the vehicle park amongst vehicles and horses/ponies.

No horse should be left unattended or allowed to roam loose.

All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and under control.

Any droppings, rubbish etc must be collected and taken home.

If a support team needs to accompany an Under 16 rider on foot around the course they are to declare this to the Event Secretary before they depart.

By entering the ride, you agree to comply with these conditons of entry.
