SX740783) – will take 20 minutes to drive to from Bovey Tracey

Entry Fee: Triathlon £18 / Tetrathlon £30 (£2 less for SDMPC members) Closing date: Friday 26thApril 2024 Teams to be declared by team managers by Saturday 27th April Entries via horse events (www.horse-events.co.uk)

➢ Shooting (9am), Running (10:30am) & Swimming (12pm) – approximate timings ➢Classes 1 & 2 – Riding phase will not be 1m as we are unable to run this height at Holwell ➢ Classes 7 & 8: The 60cm & 40cm course will be shorter ➢ Class 8: Riders may be assisted without penalty ➢ Competitors wishing to compete at the next height down will receive 200 penalty points, or if you drop down two heights 400 penalty points ➢ BE bibs required and you will need to print your riding number ➢ Catering will be available on both days ➢ The XC course will be available to walk from 2pm Friday 4th May ➢ Organisers reserve the right to split the classes if appropriate ➢ Depending on entries the team competition may be split eg. Teams within Classes 1 to 4; and Classes 5 to 8

The competition will be run under the Pony Club Tetrathlon Rules 2024 Shooting: ➢ Pistols must remain boxed until competitors are asked to unbox them by a range steward ➢ All pistols should be flagged ➢ Please indicate on the entry form if the competitor is left-handed ➢ All competitors must be able to handle a gun correctly and both them and their loaders must be able to handle the pistol safely ➢ All competitors must follow the dress code and competitors shooting at 7m must wear safety glasses Running: ➢ The run will be on grass (it is flat!!!) ➢ Competitors will be started in groups Swimming: ➢ Please state on entry form if the competitors require an outside lane ➢ Class 8: buoyancy aids will be allowed and there will be no penalty ➢ Competitors must be able to confidently swim at least 25m

Rosettes will be awarded to 8th place for individuals for both the Triathlon and Tetrathlon; and 6th place for Triathlon and Tetrathlon teams. Mixed class teams of 4 or 3 (3 to count) chosen from any of classes 1-8 but all team members from the same club. Rosettes for best in phase & all Beanies.
