Solihull RC Members Single: £70.00         Non-Members Single:  £80.00 (inclusive of start fee)

Solihull RC Members Hunter Trial Single: £35.00     Non-Members Single: £40.00 (inclusive of start fee)

Solihull RC Members Hunter Trial Pairs: £55.00     Non-Members Pairs: £60.00 (inclusive of start fee)

All entries are subject to a non refundable booking fee as stated online

All entries close the Monday prior to the competition.

Late entries will be accepted subject to availability with a late sur-charge of £3.00 per class.

GENERAL RULES ALL CLASSES

HAT STANDARDS All hats must have a visible Pink BRC/Pony Club/BE hat tag in place before they are used for warming up and competing. There will be a trained steward available on the day that will be carrying out hat tagging if your hat does not already have a tag.

HATS must be worn whenever mounted and conform to;

PAS015 (2011) with a BSI Kite mark or Inspec IC mark

VG01.040 2014-12 with a BSI Kite mark or Inspec IC mark

ASTM F1163.2004a or 04a onwards with SEI mark

SNELL 2016 (No additional mark required)

ONLY Jockey skull hats without a peak may be worn for cross country. Hat silks may be worn with flexible peak. It must also comply with the above safety standards for hats.

BODY PROTECTORS A body protector is obligatory for all arena eventing and cross-country events and are also strongly recommended for all show jumping events.   A BETA Level 3 (purple label) which has a 2009 or Blue 2018 label must be worn. Body protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions.

If a rider chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body protector and if activated, must be deflated or removed before continuing. Hybrid Air jackets and Helite Air Jackets are permitted. It is recommended that body protectors are replaced once they are more than 5 years old.

Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events.

Back protectors must be presented to the official steward for checking when declaring.

The use of HEAD CAMS are strictly prohibited. This includes use on the head, chest, bridle or any other part of the horse or rider.

Medical armbands are advised but not compulsory and must be worn on the arm & filled out with up-to-date information.

Stop watches are NOT allowed.

CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn. Long hair is to be suitably tied up.

ALL horses and ponies must be five years old and over. ALL Riders to be 8 years old and over.

ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final.

INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover.

HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event

Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers.

Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY save for the death or injury caused by the negligence of the organisers of the event, no liability is accepted for any accident, loss or damage, injury or illness to horses, ponies, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever.

SRC RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ELIMINATE ANYONE NOT ABIDING BY THESE RULES

PRIZES:

Rosettes to 6^th Place for both Unaffiliated One Day Events and Hunter Trials.

Prize money ONLY for Unaffiliated One Day Events:

1^st    £30.00 prize money

2^nd   £20.00 prize money

3^rd    £10.00 prize money

Prize money forms MUST be completed within 14 days of the competition to be redeemed. Prize money ONLY for One Day Events. There must be 20 or more starters per height class.

REFUNDS:

After the closing date, no refunds will be issued unless medical / vet certificates are provided.

THESE RULES WILL BE STRITCTLY ADHERED TO AND NO REFUND OF ENTRY WILL BE MADE

In the event of the event cancelling entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of  £1.50
