No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

Each class will be open to Pony Club individuals and teams of three or four members from the same branch

Clear Round varying heights, pay at ringside £5 a round

Team information

Each class will be open to Pony Club individuals and teams of three or four members from the same branch.

• Best three scores to count for team competition.

• We may put together some mixed teams if we have individuals who are not part of a team.

• Mixed teams will not qualify for the Mini Championships

For team entries, please enter all individuals and then team managers should please email katherine.fairley@icloud.com with details of team.

Rules

RULES

1. Ages as at 1st January 2024.

2. Times will be issued for each competitor and must be strictly adhered to.

3. This competition will be run under Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2024.

The judge’s decision will be final.

4. Classes 1-6 will be run as SINGLE PHASE, the second half will be timed.

All competitors may jump the second half unless they have been eliminated.

5. No horse/pony can be ridden in more than two classes in ring 1

6. Horses and ponies must be 5 years old or over on the day of the competition.

7. Competitors must present themselves for tack inspection a minimum of 15 minutes before they jump.

8. Correct protective helmets must be worn and comply with the 2024 Pony Club rules.

Hats must be clearly tagged with the pink tag. Failure to comply will result in elimination.

9. The wearing of body protectors is recommended.

10. The jumps in the warm-up arena must not exceed the height of the jumps in the main ring.

11. No galloping or lunging, riders must only walk their horses in the car park.

12. The organisers reserve the right to alter/cancel classes at their discretion.

13. A valid passport and annual vaccination record must accompany all horses/ponies attending this event.

14. The organiser of the Event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all the Officials and Stewards.

15. No dogs are allowed on site.

16. Please clean up after your horse or pony

17. Withdrawals by 8 June 2024 will receive a 50% refund, withdrawals thereafter cannot be refunded.

18. In the event that the competition has to be cancelled all entries will be refunded via Horse Events minus an admin charge.

 

Qualifiers

Qualification for Mini Championships

• The winning team and top two individuals will qualify for the Championships

which will be held on 22/23 August 2024 at Bicton Arena.

• Each team at the Championships must include three out of the original four

horse/rider combinations.

• Any combination of horse and rider may not compete where the height is 30cm

lower than that at which they have previously competed. This is meant as a friendly,

fairly low key, championships, “a learning experience” so that competitors will feel

confident at moving up to Regionals.

• Riders who have competed at the Regional Show Jumping or Eventing competition

are not eligible for the Mini Championships.
