Morning session 10am-11.30 for children aged 6-under 11 on their own ponies. Ponies must be 13.2h or under and be genuine all round Pony Club ponies.
Morning session 10am-11.30 for children aged 9 -under 11 on their own ponies. Ponies must be 14.2h or under and be genuine all round Pony Club ponies.
Morning session 10am-11.30 for children aged 6 -under 11 on their own polo ponies.
Afternoon session 12-2.00pm for children aged under 15 on 1st January on polo ponies
Afternoon session 12.00-2.00pm for children aged 14- under 21 on polo ponies
Afternoon session 12.00-2.00pm for children aged under 21 on polo ponies with a minimum Handicap of -2
A taster session for those new to Pony Club and Pony Club Polo.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

All Ridden instruction for this event will take place, subject to weather, on Oxford Polo’s grass pitch, if the pitch I deemed as too wet it will take place in Oxford Polo’s purpose built enclosed polo arena on a surface.
The day will be broken down into two halves. The morning session will be for Jorrocks, JOPPS and Handley Cross which is suitable all children as well as those new to polo.
Everyone will be grouped according to age / section entered.
Training will consist of a combination of fun and educational sessions covering polo rules & tactics/polo specific stable management/wooden horses/hand sticks/ polo riding/stick & ball.
Bring your own “fluffy” (14.2h or under) or school master polo ponies are available to hire – please contact Hector Worsley 07494 572877 or hector@oxfordpolo.co.uk
Half sticks, small full size sticks can be provided.
Numbers will need to be limited and entries taken on a ‘first come’ basis.
Cost £50 per person on your own pony and £75 per person on a hire pony.
There is a Pony Club polo training grant of £25.00 per person available for players new to polo and a separate grant for those under 14 years old on their own ‘fluffy’. Please contact Charlotte for more details charlotte@oxfordpolo.co.uk.

All children must be members of The Pony Club Payment & all entries to be made online ONLY please to www.horse-events.co.uk Late entries may be accepted at the organisers discretion and may be subject to a late entry surcharge of £5. Entries may have to be limited and will be taken on a ‘first come’ basis. More information regarding the running of the day, what to bring (or not), timings, directions etc will be emailed nearer the time.
