NFHPC would like to thank all the jump judges and helpers without whom this event could not run
Food: Full catering will be available all day on Saturday at Walhampton School, and on Sunday at New Park, Brockenhurst
Dogs: No dogs allowed at Walhampton School. Dogs must be on a short lead at New Park.
Camping: Can be arranged directly with Beth Beales at New Park. Do not camp or park on hard track.

The following classes are available for the NEW FOREST HUNTS BRANCH OF THE PONY CLUB Annual Tetrathlon and Triathlon
Entries & Entry Fees

All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis
Entry Fees
Tetrathlon classes 1- 5: £35 per competitor
Triathlon classes 6 & 7: £20 per competitor
This fee includes medical cover during the riding phase and lifeguard cover during the swimming phase.
All competitors must be Pony Club Members.
Entries are invited from individuals, branch and centre teams of 3 or 4 competitors. Organisers may create teams where appropriate. All competitors must wear a body protector and a correctly tagged hat.
CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES: Friday 22nd April
Class Information
Ages as 01 January 2022. Minis & tadpoles (Class 2,3,7&8) must be at least 8yrs on the day of competition.
Class 1 – Beanies Tet Beanbag throwing, run 500m; swim 2 minutes (swim aids permitted for novice swimmers) Ride max 40cm short course in inclosed area, may be led or assisted.
Class 2 – Tadpoles Tet Static targets at 7m; shoot both hands; swim 2 mins; Run 1000m. Ride max 60cm.
Class 3 – Minis Tet Turning targets at 7m; shoot both hands; swim 2 mins; Run 1000m. Ride max 75cm.
Class 4 – Juniors Tet Turning targets at 7m; run 1500m; swim 3mins; Ride max 90cm
Class 5 – Intermediate/Open Tet Turning targets at 10m; boys and girls swim 3mins; boys run 2000m; girls run 1500m. Ride max 1m
There are several L fences on all courses and competitors may opt to ride a lower course and take a 500 point penalty. Please annotate your entry accordingly.
Class 6- Beanie Tri Saturday only: As per class 1
Class 7 – Tadpoles Tri Saturday only: As per class 2
Class 8- Mini Tri Saturday only: As per Class 3.
Times & Course Walk
Times will be available on Pony Club results
Course may be walked at New Park from 4pm–6pm 30th April.
Awards & Rosettes
Awards
Rosettes presented to: The first 6 individual boys and girls in each class; Teams if class numbers allow; All Beanies will receive rosettes; Medals for best shoot/beanbag, swim and run in each class
Cups for best New Forest in classes 2-5 7 & 8.
PASSPORTS WITH VALID FLU VAX MUST ACCOMPANY ALL PONIES : NUMBERS AND SWIM HATS
Please bring own ride number bib and printed number. Swimming hats required for swim.
PASSPORTS WITH VALID FLU VAX MUST ACCOMPANY ALL PONIES, spot checks will be carried out.
Guns
Guns: All guns are to be kept in a locked car boot other than at the shooting centre at time of shoot and only to be carried by persons over 18yrs. All competitors in classes 2-5, 7 & 8 must have taken part in shooting training before the event.
Results
Results: Any queries should be lodged within 30 minutes of posting results and within 10 minutes of final results being posted.
PLEASE NOTE: QUERIES TO BE MADE BY TEAM MANAGERS. HORSES ENTERING THE TETRATHLON MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE
HUNTER TRIAL ON SUNDAY. Entry via Horse Events
Withdrawal and Cancellation
Refund Policy: Refund before Withdrawal date in Full.

Cancellation Policy: If for any reason the event is cancelled full refunds minus £2 per entry to cover admin costs

This event is being organised by NEW FOREST HUNTS BRANCH OF THE PONY CLUB. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.

Home to the New Forest Agricultural Show Society situated on the A337 between Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst
General Rules
Legal Liability – Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Health and Safety – Event Organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all the officials and stewards.
Insurance – All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by the Pony Club insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The New Forest Hunts branch of the Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you.

The organisers of the event have taken every reasonable precaution to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable steps to avoid and prevent any accident occurring. Instructions from the organisers, officials and stewards are to be obeyed. Neither the organisers, nor persons acting on their behalf accept liability for any loss or damage, accident, injury or illness to competitors, spectators or any person or property whatsoever.
