Request PermissionsThe course will be single phase with four cross poles in each section (total of 8 jumps) with the whole course set at 30cm; the second section will be timed and used to decide placings. Faults accumulative over the whole course.
The course will be single phase with five upright, single fences in each section (total of 10 jumps) with the whole course set at 40cm; the second section will be timed and used to decide placings. Faults accumulative over the whole course.
The course will be single phase with five upright, single fences in each section (total of 10 jumps) with the whole course set at 50cm; the second section will be timed and used to decide placings. Faults accumulative over the whole course.
* Any contact between the assistant and rider/horse will render the combination HC.
The course will be single phase with six fences in each section (total of 12 fences) with the whole course set at 60cm – there may be spread fences, the second section will be timed and used to decide placings. Faults accumulative over the whole course.
The course will be single phase with six fences in the first section and six in the second (total of 12 fences) with the whole course set at 70cm – the second section will be timed and used to decide placings. Faults accumulative over the whole course.
The course will be single phase with six fences in the first section and six in the second (total of 12 fences) with the whole course set at 80cm – the second section will be timed and used to decide placings. Faults accumulative over the whole course.

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £2.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

Entries All entries to be made via Horse Events If you would like to edit your horse or rider details before the closing date of the event, please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘MY BOOKING’ Tab If you would like to change the class, please email info@horse-events.co.uk and if there is space available, they will do this for you. If the show is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, entry fees will be refunded less £2 in order to defray costs. Refunds will be made online via Horse Events There will be a booking fee for each entry.
Rules and Conditions of Entry Your entry is deemed to include acceptance of these rules The competition will be run in accordance with the Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2024. The Judge’s decision is final. 3. Protests and Objections – please see Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2024 4. All hats must have the current 2023 (pink) Pony Club tag. Turnout for ALL riders and horses should be as in the Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2024 Horses/ponies competing may only be ridden by their competitor at the venue. 7. Spurs may be worn in accordance with the Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2024. If worn, Body Protectors must meet BETA 2018 Level 3 Standard (blue and black label) in accordance with Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2024. 9. ‘Grass Reins’ may only be worn in Classes 1 & 2 and must be compliant with the ‘diagrams’ in the Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2024 Whips must comply with the ‘Rule for Whips’ in the Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2024 Riders may not use their whip before the start of the course and may be eliminated for doing so at the Judge’s discretion. No horse under 5 years of age is eligible to compete. Horse & Rider Combination may enter a maximum of two classes of adjacent heights. Ponies may be ridden a maximum of twice in Classes 1,2 & 3 by two different riders, to allow for siblings that share a pony. Horses & ponies must not be left unattended in the horsebox area, please do not feed hay to your horse or pony outside of your trailer or horsebox and ensure that ALL droppings are picked up before you leave. Competitors must print their own numbers which may be used in a number bib or attached to the saddlecloth; numbers should be printed as large as possible. Passports will be spot checked for compliance. A horse with a non-compliant passport will NOT be allowed to compete and there will be no refund of entry. Please allow time for passport checking. PHOTOGRAPHS: by entering this competition you are agreeing to be photographed whilst competing; these photographs may be used for future publicity. If you do not wish to be photographed, please tell the photographer on entering the arena before you jump.
No unauthorised photographers allowed – please check with the secretary on the day.
Rider and Public Safety
- When not competing all horses/ponies must be kept to the horse box park or collecting rings. They must not be exercised in the car/lorry park, or among spectators.
- Horses/ponies tied to trailers or lorries must not be left unattended.
- Numbers will be restricted in the ‘warm up’ arena.
- All dogs MUST be kept on a short lead at all times. The owners of any loose dogs will be fined £20 per dog per incident with proceeds donated to the Air Ambulance. Please clean up after your dog.
Health & Safety
Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
Legal Liability
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
