PASSES & PARKING - PLEASE READ
PASSES etc
1 horsebox pass and 2 admission tickets will be issued to each competitor by email. DC’s and Team Trainers will also be issued with admission passes. All other spectators will have free entry to the PC SJ Arena, but will have to pay to access the main arena/trade stands area.

Parking is extremely limited and tight at Gatcombe and it would be very helpful if competitors could double up and travel together where possible
The Competition
TEAM SHOW JUMPING COMPETITION TO BE RUN UNDER “Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2023”.
The Competition
The competition will be run in Arena 2 in accordance with The Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 201, EXCLUDING THE VACCINATION RULE AS THE BE RULE ON VACCINATION WILL APPLY. Each team will consist of 3 or 4 members.
Novice Conditions of Entry
Members and horses/ponies representing their branch in this year’s Area Novice Show Jumping Competitions will be permitted to take part in this competition. Members and horses/ponies who have competed at Area Intermediate or Area Open Show Jumping and Eventing in 2023 will NOT be eligible to compete at this competition.
Grassroots Conditions of Entry
Members and horses/ponies representing their branch in this year’s Area Grassroots Show Jumping Competitions will be permitted to take part in this competition. Members and horses/ponies who have competed at Area Novice, Area Intermediate or Area Open Show Jumping and Eventing in 2023 will NOT be eligible to compete at this competition.
3 scores to count per team. All members of each team will jump consecutively. The first half of the course will not be timed, the second half will be timed. Every competitor, unless eliminated or disqualified will jump both sections of the course. Placings will be determined by the three members of each team with the least number of faults. In the case of equality of faults the times of the three counting scores will decide the placings.
Novice Fences will be minimum 90cm, maximum 95cm.
Grassroots Fences will be minimum 80cm, maximum 85cm
The competition commences at 08: 30am prompt. Branches situated closest to Gatcombe will be asked to jump first. There will be a short break at approximately 1030 to give those coming from afar the opportunity to walk the course.
Please note this is a separate competition with a separate entry system, run independently from the Intermediate/100cm competition held on the Friday 4 August 2023

Team times will be on the V.W.H. Hunt Pony Club and www.horse-events.co.uk websites from Thursday 3rd August 2023 after 6pm.

No refund of entry fees will be made after closing date of entries.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Substitutions will only be accepted due to illness or injury of child or pony and must be accompanied by the necessary certificate at the collecting ring on the ground.

This event is being organised by The VWH Pony Club . Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.
Venue Information
The Festival of British Eventing takes place at Gatcombe Park, the spectacular home of the Princess Royal and her family and incorporates the British Open, Intermediate and Novice Championships, as well as the Amateur Championship, The Corinthian Cup.
As well as a weekend of top class eventing there will be a shopping village, and arena attractions including The Devils Horsemen Cossack Riders and entertainment for all the family.
