Horse Events Virtual Eventing Dressage March 2021
New Unaffiliated Dressage Tests designed by Les Smith for Horse Events, six new dressage test for 80, 90 and 100 level competitions.
Les Smith is a BD list 2 judge and international event 3/4 star judge, he has judged at Burghley and Pau 5 star level competition and regularly judges at National BD competitions and the winter regional. Les has designed many of the British Eventing tests and we are delighted he has designed our tests.

How to enter
- Ride your dressage test at home, ask someone to video it & send your video link in to be Judged
- Your test will be Judged by a listed BD judge, Results will be published online, score sheets will be emailed.
All Tests to be sent in by 5th April Results Published by the 8th April
Online dressage allows you to work on your test at home. Ideal for those who do not have transport to get to competitions and ideal for those wishing to do some winter training helping them gain higher marks when back out competing.
You can either wear competition dress and be plaited or wear your riding leisure wear.

Rules
- Dressage Tests may be ridden in any 20 x 40m arena on a surface or on grass.
- ALL Tests may be called.
- Tests can be ridden with a Whip
- To video Tests must be videoed from the ‘C’ end of the arena and must be completed in one session, as you would in any competition.
- Stand back approx. 3m from C, as if you were in the position of the dressage judge please use the zoom if needed.
- Make sure that the whole horse is in the video at all times (Tests may be videoed from a phone or camera)
- Put your video on Vimeo or YouTube ‐Include you Surname and Horses Name in the Video Link
- If using a password Make sure you include on your entry form ‐please test that it works before you send it to us.
- Copy your YouTube code VERY CLEARLY on your entry form.
Terms & Conditions
- On entering any of the classes with Horse Events Virtual you accept and abide by the Rules laid out here.
- Classes are open to ALL, they will be divided into sections in the event of needing two judges to judge the section.
- Each video submitted must not have been previously judged.
- Horse and rider combinations can enter more than one class but so as to be fair to other riders please only enter for your level of riding. For example, do not select the walk & Trot test as well and the Novice.
- Entry fee will not be refunded once your entry has been accepted.
- Horses and ponies can be ridden by more than one rider.
- Any riders under 16 must have parental permission
- The Judges decision is final in all situations. No communication or discussion will be entered into by Horse Events. This includes not only the representatives, but also by the judge involved. Any objections or appeals regarding your score need to be made in writing within the 24 hours of the test being judged.
- A caller is allowed. The caller must read from the test sheet and not offer any coaching or any other instructions during the test.
- The video must have sound and NO cuts. It must start 5 seconds at least before the rider enters the arena and 5 seconds after the rider salutes at the end.
- If a video feels unsuitable, cruel, inappropriate or if the horse looks lame, Horse Events will eliminate the entry with no refund.
- Dress can be either casual or in competition dress.

- By submitting your video you give full permission for you video to be published online on the various Horse Events Channels and Website. We accept no responsibility for the copyright of your content. If you do not wish for your content to be used please let us know on your entry form.
Event Booking Information
This event is being organised by . Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
