Competitors in classes 1 & 2 may not enter class 4 or above.

No lead reins will be allowed except in class 1 & 2

ENTRY FEES:

Classes 1,2 & 3 £12,

Classes 4 & 5 £14 DEBUT & PC CHALLENGE qualifier classes 6 & 7 £18.

All entries are subject to a non refundable booking fee of £1.45

Entry for classes 1-7 will be restricted, late entries may be permitted if numbers allow at £2 extra. Submission of entry denotes acceptance of the rules.

Rosettes will be awarded to 8th place in each class according to entries and will be divided Horses/Ponies if numbers warrant.

Qualifying Stages

There will be up to three stages of the Barrier Animal Health Show Jumping Spring Festival depending on region.

England and Wales:

  1. Preliminary Rounds for Show Jumping are held between April 2021 and March 2022 to enable competitors to qualify for their Area Competition.
  2. Area Competitions for Show Jumping will be held in March 2022 for those who qualified at a Preliminary Round. All Preliminary Round qualifiers will go forward to an Area Competition held in March 2022. Members must compete at their own Area Competition; no exemptions will be given.
  3. Those who were successful at their Area Competition will go forward to the Spring Festival Finals (8th – 10th April 2022, Arena UK). In addition, Members who had qualified for the cancelled 2021 Spring Festival Area Competitions (and are recorded with the office) will keep their places for the 2022 Spring Festival Area Competitions.

ENTRY CONDITIONS:

Rules

  1. The competition will be run under Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2021 and the Show Jumping Spring Festival Debut, Spring Festival & Open Grand Prix Show Jumping rules where applicable. The decision of the judge is final.
  2. Hats conforming to the current Pony Club dress rules must be worn with the chinstrap fastened whilst mounted.
  3. Hairnets must be worn.
  4. No Horse or pony to enter more than 3 classes.
  5. In all Pony Club Show Jumping, excessive use of the whip including repeated slapping down the shoulder is prohibited. The rules state that the whip may be used a maximum of three times during any round Use of the whip will be monitored, especially at the Championships, and excessive use may result in elimination at the discretion of the Judges.
  6. In case of high entries some classes may be run as two phase.
  7. Pony Club members only may compete.
  8. No refunds will be made unless the show is cancelled
  9. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
  10. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
