In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of £4 per horse and rider combination (Booking fees are non refundable)

Before the closing date please login to your Horse Events Account and cancel your entry. If a refund is due this will be processed automatically. To withdraw after the closing date please contact the event Organiser easthertfordshire@pcuk.org

Rules and Conditions of Entry
1.    The Show is run under Pony Club Show Jumping Rules.  A full copy of these rules can be found here – The Pony Club Show Jumping rules
2.    ONLINE ENTRIES WILL CLOSE ON THE 30th MAY 2024.  ENTRIES ON THE DAY WILL BE ACCEPTED @£13 PER CLASS IF SPACE ALLOWS
3.    First Aid is provided at this Show and the First Aid cost is included within your class entry fee.
4.    Sunshine Tour 2024 (12th to 15th September 2024) – To qualify you must achieve 1st- 3rd in Show Jumping and 1st – 4th in Showing, and qualification DOES NOT go down the line.  You must register your horse / pony with the Sunshine Tour, then Qualify at our show and record your result on the Sunshine Tour website.  Please refer to Sunshine Tour eligibility rules for more information..
5.    All classes will close 15 mins after the start of each class unless it is already full.
6.    Classes will be limited in size and may be split should entries allow.
7.    No entries from colts or stallions will be accepted at this Show
8.    Dress – Neat tidy safe clothing & footwear is expected. Show shirts must cover your shoulders; you will not be permitted to compete with shoulders uncovered.  Riding hats are to be worn at all times when mounted.
9.    Entry to the show authorises our representatives to take photographs/videos/other images for promotional purposes, which may be published after the event.
10.    Refund before the Withdrawal date of 30/05/2024 in full, after the withdrawal date refund minus an admin fee of £4.
11.    No entry fee will be refunded after the closing date of 30/05/2024 unless a veterinary or medical certificate is presented.  Any refunds will be less a £4 administration fee.

13.    Spectators and competitors attend entirely at their own risk.  Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone by whom in law they are responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee, or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners or riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents, and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract, or in any other way whatsoever.  Entries are only accepted on this basis.
14.    The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone at this event.  For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents.  They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
15.    Competitors will be responsible for the control of their animals at all times and will be liable for any veterinary/farriery expenses incurred on the day.
16.    All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and should have their own third party cover.  The East Hertfordshire Hunt Branch of the Pony Club and the organisers are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you.
17.    The organisers reserve the right to vary the order and composition according to circumstance if necessary.
18.    Abuse of the horse, bad language, or behaviour will not be tolerated and will risk elimination without a refund.
19.    Objections to the secretary within 30 minutes of any incident with a £20 deposit, non-refundable if over-ruled.
20.    All dogs are to be on short leads at all times.  All mess should be picked up and disposed of appropriately.
21.    We respectfully ask you not to muck your lorries or trailers out onto our field.
