About this Event

This is a Meet full of long gallops up and down hills on turf around a beautiful family farm. We also cross the East Hendred Estate using tracks and bridleways with a long gallop up to the Ridgeway before returning to the farm.

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given. Discretion of organiser can be used after withdrawal date

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

Additional Details

This is a Meet full of long gallops up and down hills on turf around a beautiful family farm. We also cross the East Hendred Estate using tracks and bridleways with a long gallop up to the Ridgeway before returning to the farm. We have plenty of timber and logs to jump which are all optional fences. This meet offers a fantastic opportunity to view hounds working and is suitable for all levels of riding but you must be able to keep up whilst cantering in a group. A day with spectacular views is promised!

Entry information

If you have not hunted with us before or you are the parent of a child coming hunting, you must email the Hon Secretaries in advance to discuss the Meet and the suitability of you (or your child) for it. You can email them on honsecretaries@berksandbucksdraghunt.org they are a friendly duo and there to answer any questions you may have.

Event Directions & additonal details

Directions : If coming from Reading / Didcot / Steventon direction on the A417 Reading Road the turning to The Greenway is on your left opposite The Hare Public house. If coming from Wantage on the same road it will be on your right. Proceed straight along The Greenway which turns into Ginge Road. Haybarn is around a mile and half along the road on the left. Parking Directions : The farmyard on the left just past the house “Haybarn” is where we will be parking. Please park sensibly not blocking any entrances. The WhatThreeWords point is the centre of the farmyard but please make use of all space with first people attending parking towards the back. Please ensure all droppings are picked up and taken with you. There must be no mess left at the farmyard.
