Classes will be held on both grass and a surface depending on entries and ground.
Classes 90cm + 100cm

Entries & Entry Fees
ENTRIES:

Entry Fee: £30 per rider
Team Managers/DC’s please email Samantha Chinnock your predicted numbers for each class.
For Pony Club entries you will need your membership number and Branch/Centre to enter a qualifying class.
If you would like to edit your horse or rider details before the closing date of the event, please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘MY BOOKING’ Tab
If you would like to change the class, please email info@horse-events.co.uk and if there is space available, we will do this for you.

ENTRY CONDITIONS:

- To be run in accordance with Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2022
- Please ensure your members comply with 2022 eligibility, hat tagging, body protector and medical armband rules and responsible adult present.
- Please Print your own Paper Number.
- Queries may only be raised via the Secretary or the DC. Protests / objections will be managed as per Rule 5.
- Competitors must present themselves to the steward for tack inspection 20 minutes before their allocated jumping time.
- Photographic Rights – competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.
- A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. It is the DC’s responsibility to ensure that all team members vaccination records are in line with Pony Club Rule 2.4. Qualifying Individuals/Teams will need to present passport for checking at prize giving.
- We reserve the right to ballot entries.
- We ask that dogs are left at home. Please clear any hay and droppings around your trailers.
Withdrawals & Refunds
Withdrawals & Refunds
If a Branch or Centre withdraws a team or Individual prior to the entry closing date, a full refund of entry will be made less an administration charge.
Withdrawals after the closing date for a competition will not be refunded except on production of a vet certificate or medical certificate.
Refunds where due after the closing date are subject to an administration fee of £10.
In the event of the competition being abandoned, for whatever reason, a refund of 50% of the entry will be given.

This event is being organised by Mendip Farmers Hunt PC. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.
Venue Information
Mendip Plains Equestrian Centre is run by the Green family, who have been farming on the Waldegrave Estate in Chewton Mendip and Ston Easton for over 80 years. We owe the Waldegraves a huge vote of thanks for allowing us the opportunity to diversify into the equestrian sector. Our aim is to provide a friendly face and a facility for all ages and abilities. Whether horse-riding is just a hobby to you, or you are out to produce the next Badminton winner, we hope we can help in some kind of way.
The facilities Include:
- Cross country course with fences from 60cm to 100cm
- 90m x 50m all weather outdoor arena, sand and fibre surface
- One set of wooden training show jumps
- One set of wooden competition show jumps
- Dressage boards and markers
- 100m x 100m hard standing lorry and trailer park
Our facilities can be booked online through the website and will be available between 8am – 8pm each day weather depending

spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
HEALTH, SAFETY & WELFARE:
Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
