Class 1: 110 THE PONY CLUB OPEN AREA COMPETITION
Start height of max 1.10m in first round Open to Teams and Individuals

Class 2: 1m THE PONY CLUB INTERMEDIATE COMPETITION
Start height of max 1m in first round. Open to Teams and Individuals.
The winning team will be awarded the Valerie Ridout Cup Kindly sponsored by Lingfield Equine Vets
Class 3: 90cm THE PONY CLUB NOVICE & BULLOCK CUP COMPETITION
Start height of max 90cm in first round. Open to Teams and Individuals.
Depending on entry numbers, entries may be balloted. The winning team will be awarded the Bullock Trophy Kindly sponsored by Baverstock Country Supplies
Class 4: 80cm GRASSROOTS REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
Start height of max 80cm in first round. Open to Teams and Individuals.
Depending on entry numbers, entries may be balloted. The winning team will be awarded the Eclipse Trophy Kindly sponsored by Elms Equestrian

Entries & Entry Fees

ENTRIES

All entries should be made online using www.horse-events.co.uk. This is a single booking form process and entries will not be confirmed without payment.

For Pony Club entries you will need your membership number and Branch/Centre to enter a qualifying class. Your Team Manager will be emailed with a list of entries so that they can confirm the teams for your Club.

Entry Fee: £30

*First aid cover is included in the entry fee.

All entries are subject to a non refundable booking fee of £1.85

Rider and Horse amendments can be made online by logging into your Horse Events account under ‘my bookings‘. Here you can edit your details up until close of entries.

COMPETITION FORMAT

COMPETITION FORMAT

The Open, Intermediate, and Novice Competitions are judged over two jumping rounds, with a further timed jump off in the event of a tie for qualifying places.

The Grassroots Qualifier will be judged over two jumping rounds, with the second round running as a single phase. The organisers reserve the right to also run the Novice competition second round as a single phase, subject to the number of entries.

All classes will run on a surface, and each class will be run across two arenas.

All classes will be run in accordance with Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2020, and Sport Rule Changes 2021. All entries must meet Area Qualifier conditions of entry.

All competitors hats must be tagged. All horses & ponies must be vaccinated as per Pony Club rules and random checks will be undertaken so please ensure passports available.

We request that you minimise the time you are on site: ARRIVE, COMPETE, LEAVE.

TIMES AND RESULTS

Competitor times and numbers will be published on www.ponyclubresults.co.uk from 6pm on Thursday 1st July.

Competitors will have approx. 30 – 60 mins between each round, and will be expected to keep to their times.

All competitors must print their own numbers and provide their own number bibs.

Rosettes places will be given from 1st to 6th, with sashes for the winners, for the Team and Individual competition in all classes.

There will be no scoreboard or prize giving on the day.

Withdrawals & Refunds

SUBSTITUTIONS

After the closing date substitutions may only be made as per Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2020.

WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS

Full refunds will be given up until the closing date of the competition.

After the closing date no refunds will be made without a Doctors or Vets certificate produced no later than 24 hours after the event. If produced after this no refund will be given.

Refunds where due after the closing date are subject to an admin fee of: £5 In the event of abandonment 50% of the entry fee will be refunded.

RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  1. The competition will be run in accordance with the Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2020.
  2. Government Covid-19 guidelines must be adhered to at all time.
  3. Check your temperature at home, and do not attend the show if you have a temperature or feel unwell.
  4. Please leave the show ground as soon as possible after you have finished competing.
  5. There will be no prize giving. Competitors should leave a large stamped addressed envelope for any rosettes to be sent on.
  6. In the event of large entries, the Novice and Grassroots Regional Qualifier competitions may be balloted.
  7. All hats to be worn in the competition must be checked as being tagged, hats must conform to the current Pony Club standards and must have a chinstrap fastened at all times when mounted. In the interests of safety, the organisers reserve the right to eliminate anyone in breach of this rule.
  8. Protest and Objections. Please see the Pony Club Show Jumping Rule Book 2020.
  9. In the event of cancellation refunds will be processed by Horse Events.
  10. Refunds for entries will only be given if a doctor’s note or vet􏰁s certificate is provided.
  11. When not competing all horses/ponies must be kept in the box park or collecting rings, they must not be exercised (including lunging) in the car/box park or among spectators.
  12. Horses/ponies competing may only be ridden by their competitor.
  13. Please clear up all hay and droppings from around your box/trailer. Please do not tie haynets to the side of trailers/boxes.
  14. It is recommended that all mares in season and known kickers should wear a red ribbon on their tail. Stallions may only compete with a written letter of permission from your DC, and should wear a disc. No horse/pony under 4yrs may compete.
  15. Dogs should be left at home if possible, and if not should be kept on a short lead. Please make sure you clear up after your dog.
  16. For safety reasons, no jewellery including sleepers may be worn.

This event is being organised by Old Surrey & Burstow Branch of the Pony Club. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.

As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.

We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.
