Area 10 Pony Club C+ Test Training via Zoom
Area 10 is delighted to offer C+ Test training weekly online with PC
Dates: 4 March, 11 March, 18 March, 25 March, 1 April and 8 April.
Accredited Coaches: Vicky Clark and Kate Gedge.
Come and join your fellow PC friends for fun and interactive learning sessions focusing on the Care Sections of the C+ Test. You can complete the whole 6-week course or dip in and out to suit you.
These online lessons will take place weekly on a Thursday at 7.30pm and include 45mins teaching and 10 mins for discussion and questions afterwards.
As there will be two instructors and the opportunity to split into ‘break out’ rooms to help learning and discussion.

Entries & Entry Fees
Enter online: at www.horse-events.co.uk
Cost: £5 each per session or £30 for the full course of 5 sessions plus a £1 – £1.45 non refundable booking fee.
Payment is required on booking (each session can be booked separately and there is no commitment to complete all 5 sessions).
All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis.

SESSION ONE | Management of Horses and Ponies in work | Know and discuss the care, feeding and work of a pony off grass. |
Thursday 4 March | Know and discuss the care, feeding and work of a stabled pony. | |

SESSION TWO | Feeding | Understand the rules of watering and feeding. |
Thursday 11 March | Be able to recognise various different feedstuffs and know what each is used for | |
Understand the importance of bulk in the diet. | ||
Know when to feed hay or haylage. | ||
SESSION THREE | Grooming, Bandaging and Travel | Know the articles of grooming kit and use them effectively. |
Thursday 18 March | Put on a stable bandage. | |
Prepare a horse for travel, including rugs, travel boots or bandages and tail bandage | ||
Load and unload the horse into a trailer or horse box safely. | ||
SESSION FOUR | Foot and Shoeing | Describe a hunter (general purpose) shoe. |
Thursday 25 March | Name the external parts of the foot. | |
Know the structure of the horse’s foot as shown in the Manual of Horsemanship | ||

This event is being organised by Area 10 Pony Club . Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.
