This badge is about equipment safety. We will discuss why and when it is important to wear hats, body protectors and correct boots. We will learn how to recognise an unsafe, worn or damaged saddle and bridle.

This badge is about equipment safety. We will discuss why we wear certain clothing and footwear for riding and
handling horses. We will learn that equipment must fit to be safe and understand the basic rules of fitting hats and body protectors. Know that there are safety standards and how to check if a hat or body protector is of the current standard. Know that the Pony Club has a hat tagging system. Show where tack may be damaged or worn and the importance of regular checks.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Health and Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
- Run under the Current years Pony Club Rule Book. Entry is taken as acceptance of these rules.
