Location: Horseheath Racecourse
Cross-country schooling at Horseheath with instruction from Katie Barrett, in small groups of similar ability, in sessions of approximately 75/90 minutes duration dependent on group sizes.
The Area 8 Eventing Qualifier for 70/80/90/100 and Chairman’s Cup is taking place on the 13th July and The Area 8 Tetrathlon Qualifier Ride phase is at Horseheath on July 19th/20th.
This is an ideal opportunity to train with Katie for those hoping to compete in the Areas & for those competing at Tetrathlon practice the Gate & Slip Rail.
N.B. TO BE ELEGIBLE TO COMPETE AT AREA EVENTING/TETRATHLON THE COMBINATION OF HORSE & N&TPC MEMBER MUST HAVE BEEN XC TRAINING WITH KATIE.
This particular days training sessions are strictly for N&TPC riders capable of competing at a minimum of 70cm.
Approved 2025 standard hats, tagged pink, and body protectors meeting BETA 2018 Level 3 Standard must be worn.
Spurs may not be worn unless the C+ Riding Test or the PC Spurs Test has been achieved, indicated by a yellow hat tag.
All ponies/horses must be up to date with their EI vaccinations; passports, showing these vaccinations, must have been checked by Victoria Murrell.
