Dressage

45 Minutes AE Instruction followed by a judged round. NO OPTIMUM TIME. Jumping faults will be recorded. Move on after 3 refusals. There will be no eliminations unless circumstances are deemed dangerous.

No Refunds after the withdrawal date. Before this date full refunds to be given. After the Withdrawal date only full refund minus the booking fee IF replaced, otherwise your fee is forfeited.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

Groups will have a maximum of 4 participants. Available spaces: 100cms – 4 spaces (1 group) First test 9am 90cms – 4 spaces (1 group) First Group 9am 80cms – 8 spaces (2 groups) 70cms – 8 spaces (2 groups) 50/60cms – 4 spaces (1 group). Group AE Times and individual dressage times will be issued on Tuesday 26th March. Test sheets and rosettes will be available after each level is completed. All levels £40pp Rules 1. Open to all AREA 9 Pony Club members ONLY 2. No horse can compete more than once per class. 3. Dress Code will be as for Pony Club rallies. Please look smart and do your PC proud! All horses and ponies will be tack checked. Tack and equipment for Pony Club members and horses should be as in the Pony Club Rules for Dressage/Show-jumping 2023. Rules available on the main Pony Club website. HAT RULE 2023: – “Hats MUST be fitted with a pink Pony Club, British Eventing (BE) or British Riding Club (BRC) hat tag. Please have your hat checked and tagged by your DC before attending the competition. Hat checks and tagging can be carried out onsite with a donation to the CHPC. The Pony Club reserves the right to randomly spot check any hat regardless of whether it is already tagged. Tagging indicates that a hat meets the accepted standards. No check of the fit and condition of the hat is implied. It is considered to be the responsibility of the Member’s parent(s)/guardian(s) to ensure that their child’s hat complies with the required standards and is tagged before they go to any Pony Club event. They are also responsible for ensuring that the manufacturer’s guidelines with regard to fit and replacement are followed. BODY PROTECTOR RULE 2024-The Pony Club follows the British Equestrian Standards for Body Protectors. If a Body protector is worn for any Pony Club activity it must meet the BETA 2018 Level 3 standard (blue and black label) – see left. From 1st January 2024 only body protectors that meet BETA 2018 Level 3 standard (blue and black label) are to be used. WHIPS must comply with the new ‘Rule for Whips’ in the Show Jumping Pony Club Rules 2022 10. BATON style 45-70cms. COACHES WILL BE REMINDING MEMBERS OF WHIP ETIQUETTE. SPURS may be worn in accordance with the Show Jumping Rules 2022. 4. Horses/Ponies must not be left unattended, especially never left unsupervised tied to the outside of lorries. Please pick up droppings in lorry park and NO lunging in the lorry park. Health & Safety Organisers of this rally have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Withdrawals If you are unable to attend, please notify the Entry Secretary, Horse Events, at the earliest opportunity. Entry fee, minus the booking fee will be refunded up to a week prior to the rally, after which 50% of the fee will be retained, unless the place can be filled.
Vaccination Policy Horses and ponies must be 5yrs of age or over. PASSPORTS must be always carried. Horses/ponies will not be allowed to compete without their passport with valid flu vaccinations with a booster within the last 12 months of the date of the rally. A horse with a non-compliant passport will NOT be allowed to attend and there will be no refund of entry.
