By kind permission of the Gill family. 2 Day Non Residential camp (all participants will return home with their ponies each day). 2 Ridden lessons per day as well as dismounted training. Aimed at members 12 yrs old and under & those looking to gain confidence (NOT to be attending senior camp as well). Guaranteed fun with your Pony Club friends whilst learning new skills from our brilliant instructors! Participants to bring a packed lunch and refreshments for throughout the days. Lots of fun and games & opportunity to gain efficiency tests & achievement badges. Further details will be issued in the run up to camp. Total package £109 per person. Deposit of £50pp payable by 31/05/25 secures a place with the remaining balance due by 01/07/2025.

Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms carefully before registering your child for Pony Club Camp. Submission of a completed registration form and payment confirms acceptance of these conditions.

1. General Information

Camp will be held on 31st July & 1st August 2025 at Nut Hill Farm, Aberford.

Riders must be current members of Bramham Moor Pony Club.

Camp fees are £109 per person, payable by 1st July 2025.

2. Horse and Tack Requirements

All horses/ponies must be fit, sound, and vaccinated (flu/tetanus within 12 months).

Horses must be regularly handled/ridden and appropriate for the rider’s ability.

All tack must be safe and in good condition. The camp organisers reserve the right to inspect and refuse unsuitable tack.

3. Rider Equipment

All riders must wear:

  • – A correctly fitted riding helmet (current standard & tagged).
  • – A body protector (mandatory for jumping).
  • – Suitable riding boots and gloves.

Long hair must be tied up. No jewellery is allowed when riding.

4. Behaviour and Supervision

Campers are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, volunteers, and peers.

Bullying, dangerous behaviour, or defiance of camp rules may result in dismissal from camp without refund.

Children will be supervised during structured activities. Outside of these, basic self-responsibility is expected.

5. Liability and Insurance

Horse riding is a risk sport. Participation is at the rider’s own risk.

The Pony Club, its organisers, instructors, and volunteers are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage unless caused by proven negligence.

All riders must have valid Pony Club membership which includes rider insurance.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations by participants:

  • – More than 4 weeks before camp: full refund minus admin fee.
  • – Within 7 days or no-show: no refund unless exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the DC.

Cancellations by the organiser due to weather, low numbers, or unforeseen events will be refunded in full.

7. Photography and Media Consent

Photos/videos may be taken during camp. These may be used on the branch website, social media, or newsletters.

Please confirm if you do not give consent.

8. Data Protection

We comply with GDPR. All personal information will be stored securely and used only for camp purposes.

Contact details will be shared only with staff and volunteers who require them.

9. Additional Terms

All property and equipment is brought to camp at the owner’s risk.

Parents/guardians must be present at all times during camp.

We reserve the right to amend these terms with reasonable notice if necessary.
