Essex Union Pony Club - B Test Training

Minimum eligibility for B Test is passed C plus and are over 14 years old. Kate will review all candidates and if needed we will support candidates to take test at another time if either rider or current 4 legged friend are not quite ready currently, to reiterate there will be other opportunities to do so in 2024. The following dates are all unmounted and will look at stable management all at Kate Meads home Coggeshall, Essex commencing at 1900 till 2100 .We may well add further training as we go forward should it be needed. The 1st ridden session will be incorporated into the rally on 21st February at Radley green ,this is already available to book on via horse events and submit your entry in the B test group ride please. Kate is very keen that this is well attended if needed we will add or amend classes . Kate would also encourage members to attend the fitness rally on 24th February with Alicia Wilkinson that will incorporate a B test groups as well this will be dedicated and include elements from the curriculum, this is a mounted session on the gallops at Radley Green. There will also be a prep day at Poplar Park Equestrian Centre in Suffolk on 9th April that will include show jumping and cross country ,we then plan to stay over at Poplar with the exam the following day 10th April, the exam will be an all day test starting at about 0930 for both ridden and stable management tests. We will be opening entries to the rest of area 8 should EUHPC not fill the spaces and already have expressions of interest so please book on as soon as possible and I will endeavour to coordinate numbers etc going forward.
