Online entries only via Horse Events, £15 per entry plus booking fee.
Medical fees are included.
Teams of 3-4 with the best three scores to count.
Team manager access available to view and assign teams online
No rider may ride more than one horse or pony in one team.
All classes will be run as a single phase with the second half of the course to be timed.
Course walks will take place at regular intervals during the day.
Classes 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 & 8 the top two pony club teams and the top two pony club individuals to qualify for the Bicton mini championships.
no pony may enter more than two classes.
GENERAL RULES
- The decision of the judges shall be final and no objections shall be entertained.
- The organisers retain the right to disqualify any competitor for any cruelty or dis-courteousness.
- No horse or pony under the age of five may compete.
- Hard hats to the pony club current standards must be worn with the chin strap fastened. Pony club members must display the pink hat tag.
- Whips 2023 ruling will be enforced on the day.
- The lunging of horses and ponies is not permitted.
- Riding of horses and ponies in bearing or check reins is not permitted balance reins may only be used in class 1, 2, 3 & 4.
- All dogs must be kept on a lead.
- The organisers reserve the right to cancel and/or amend any of the classes as they feel fit or alter advised times or refuse entry without stating reason.
- outside assistance will be penalised.
- All classes as per pony club show jumping rules 2004.
- Please pick up all horse droppings.
- Please do not leave horses unattended tied to trailers or lorries.
HEALTH & SAFETY
The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take reasonable precaution to avoid and prevent accidents occurring. They must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.
LEGAL LIABILITY
Save for the death or personal injury caused by negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or the pony club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, vehicles, trailers, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
