Incorporating the Area 12 PC70, PC70 PLUS and PC80 Regional Qualifiers 2024.

Entries only open to Pony Club Members of branches in Area 12.

This is a two-round competition.
Please refer to the Pony Club Show Jumping Rule Book 2024 for eligibility. For individuals and teams of 3 or 4 riders. For teams the best 3 scores will count.
The top 6 teams will qualify for the Regional Championships held on 24 & 25 August at Aston Le Walls, as well as the top 16 individuals WHO HAVE NOT QUALIFIED AS PART OF A TEAM.
Fences in 1st round 80cm; 2nd round 80cm with two single fences at 85cm which will be run as a Single Phase and in the case of a tie after 2 rounds the time taken in the second phase of the second round will be used to decide the results and there will not be a jump off.
Rosettes will be awarded to teams and individuals in 1st – 6th place
Rosettes will also be awarded to all PC80/Regional competitors jumping a double clear.
No horse (or pony) ridden in Class 1 can be ridden in any other class.
N.B. (Rule 36b): If a Team is eliminated in the first round any member not eliminated will be allowed to jump in the second round. If a team member is eliminated in the first round he/she may jump again in the second round, provided the Team has not been eliminated, and is eligible to count.

Rides in class 3 only can be led or assisted. All riders will be competing in the same section.
Single phase; height of fences will be approximately 40cm
Rosettes will be awarded to teams and individuals in 1st – 6th place. Special rosettes will be awarded to all competitors jumping a clear round.
No rider competing in Class 3 can ride in Class 1 or 2

Full refund up until withdrawal date, after withdrawal date refund only if replaced from the wait list.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

Entrants for PC70, PC70 PLUS and PC80 Qualifier classes must have approval by Branch DC or Centre Proprietor before entering.

Terms and Conditions

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. No pony or horse may compete in more than 2 classes and the same combination is only permitted to compete in Classes of consecutive heights except for no horse ridden in Class 1 or 2 can be ridden in any other class.
2. All classes are run under the guidance of the Pony Club Show Jumping 2024 Rules.
3. The decision of the Judge and Steward is final.
4. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
5. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at the Event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
6. There is to be no outside assistance (except for Class 3 – 40cm), leading around jumps or lunging.
7. Any fall will automatically count as elimination, competitors to leave the Ring unmounted.
8. The use of foul language and miss-use of spurs will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate elimination.
9. A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. 11. All competitors must download and print their numbers from www.ponyclubresults.co.uk.
These will be available when times are published. Numbers must be displayed front and back in a number bib and must be worn at all times when mounted. Competitors must bring their own number bib. 1 copy of the number is to be displayed in the front of vehicle on entry to Showground.
12. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure their dress and tack complies with current pony club regulations. All hats must be tagged with current tag. Any competitor found to be in breach of these regulations may be disqualified at any time during or after the competition.
13. Entry to this competition constitutes acceptance of the Rules and Conditions.
