Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

Terms and Conditions

RULES

1.             Start times will be issued for each rider in each class. These may alter on day depending on how fast classes run. Please be prepared to start earlier or later than set time

2.             This competition will be run under Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2024

3.             The judges decision will be final

4.             Classes will be run as SINGLE PHASE, the second half will be timed. All competitors jump the second half unless they have been eliminated

5.             No horse/pony can be ridden in more than two classes

6.             Tack checks will be carried out in the warm up arena

7.             The Pony Club Saddlery and Dress rules will be strictly enforced

8.             Hats must comply with current Pony Club Rule book. Failure to comply may result in elimination. Hats must be tagged with the January 2023 NEW PINK TAGS

9.             The wearing of body protectors is recommended

10.         Every horse or pony to have current in date Flu vaccinations. Boosters within 12 months

11.         The warm up arena will be stewarded, with a maximum of 6 riders at any one time

12.         The jumps in the warm up arena must not exceed the height of the jumps in the main ring

13.         The organisers reserve the right to alter/cancel classes at their discretion. Also change start times. Please be prepared and allow enough time for classes to run early or late

14.         Liability: Neither the landowners, organisers, nor any person acting on their behalf accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever

15.         The organiser of the Event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all the Officials and Stewards

16.         All dogs on short leads at all times

17.         Number bibs are not required

18.         The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry without stating a reason for doing so and also reserve the right to eliminate any competitor who in their opinion places her/himself or others in danger or fails to observe rules

19.         In the event of cancellation notification will be posted on the Mendip Farmers PC website and on the event facebook page. 

20.         Horse and ponies must be over 4 years on the day of competition
