Before the closing date please login to your Horse Events Account and cancel your entry. To withdraw after the closing date please contact the event Organiser surreyunion@pcuk.org
Refund before Withdrawal date in Full (minus any booking fees). After Withdrawal date only if a vet/medical certificate is sent to Horse Events by the date of the event.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of £2.00 per horse and rider combination (Booking fees are non refundable)

Terms and Conditions
Any abuse of horses/ponies, officials, other competitors, or members of the public will not be tolerated and those found doing so will be asked to leave the venue with no compensation and may be reported to the relevant authority. Judges’ decision is final.

Passports may be spot checked and if found not to be compliant then all ponies/horses on the same transport will be unable to compete. Your vaccinations must be up to date with a vaccination in the last 12 months. Please check the Pony Club website for current rules.
If any horse/pony has been in contact with strangles or any other infectious disease, it should not attend this event.
1. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organizers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other
2. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
3. The Surrey Union Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
4. The decision of the judge is final. Objections are to be made to the Chief Judge in writing, within half an hour of the disputed event, together with a deposit of £25 which will be refunded should the objection be upheld.
5.No fees will be refunded without a vet’s or doctor’s certificate; an admin charge will be deducted.
6. The organisers reserve the right to cancel or alter the classes.
7. Whips of any length maybe carried. No side reins.
8. The current Pony Club saddlery rules apply
9. All riders must wear a protective hat when mounted. Protective hat should comply with Pony Club hat rule 2024 and be tagged for members of the pony club, see www.pcuk.org for hat rule 2024 and acceptable specifications. Hat tagging will be available on the day.
10. Hair tied back securely. Earrings taped or taken out.
11. Horses/ ponies must not be tied up outside boxes / trailers and left unattended at any time.
12. Bicycles, roller blades or similar are not permitted on the show ground.
13. The organisers reserve the right to eliminate any competitor in breach of any rules or showing disrespectful behaviour to human or animal alike.
