Fences approx 100cm. If less than 4 entries, these may be moved to the 90cm class.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of £5.00 per horse and rider combination (Booking fees are non refundable)

This event is a Qualifier for the Horse Events National Unaffiliated SEG & Young Horse Eventing Championships 2024 Incorporating:
* Amateur ONLY classes – Riders must meet eligibility criteria to ensure a true amateur class
* Open class for young horses – open to all levels of rider with horse 4, 5 or 6 years in their 1st or 2nd year of eventing.
* Schools Equestrian Games Eventing Championships – the Prestigious Schools Eventing series to find the Schools eventing champions.

Qualifiers- *The Saracen Connemara Eventing Championship 2024 is being held on 5th October at Offchurch, Bury, Leamington Spa CV33 9AR.
Open to pure and partbred registered Connemaras. To qualify, achieve a top 10 placing or jump double clear at the height you wish to enter at the final 70cm -1m.

RULES
1. The event will be run under BE rules.
2. The organisers have the right to combine or separate classes.
3. Anyone mounted must wear a hard hat with chin strap fastened at all times. All hats must meet current standards (PAS015 1998 or 2011VG1.01.040 2014-2012 and BSI kitemarked). No fixed peaks for XC.
4. Body protectors must be Level 3 blue BETA 2018 standard or above. Current whip rules apply.
5. The use of stopwatches is permitted on XC.
6. Long hair must be tied up. Any competitor’s number obscured by their hair risks elimination. No jewellery.
7. No horse/pony to compete in more than one class.
8. No outside assistance may be given.
9. Only fences marked in the warm up area may be jumped. No cantering/galloping outside of the warm up areas.
10. If a competitor is eliminated in the showjumping (unless by a technicality) the combination will only be permitted to ride on the cross country course at the discretion of the organisers.
11. 3 refusals at 1 fence or 4 in total on the XC will result in elimination. The combination will only be allowed to continue at the discretion of the organisers.
12. Refunds will not be given after the close of entries without a doctor/vet certificate.
13. The organisers/landowners are not responsible for any accidental damage or loss to competitors, horses or spectators however caused.
14. Any complaints should be submitted in writing with a £20 deposit.
15. Dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times.
16. Any queries with the scoring must be directed at the secretary, not the scorers.
17. The judge’s decision is final.
