In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

Each competitor jumps approximately 7 show jumps and then immediately goes on and jumps 7-10 cross country fences and finishing over a joker if they chose (this will be a bonus jump for extra points!)
All classes will be split into lead rein and assisted and unassisted for prizes if entries allow.
All riders who complete will get a rosette.
These competitions are aimed at the new, novice and /or nervous rider of any age. The aim is to give riders a supportive gentle introduction to cross country riding. Please enter in the spirit of this.
This will be run under pc eventing rules.
OPTIMAL TIME – Optimum time will be set based on a rhythmical round appropriate to level, this is not about speed but a nice safe stylish XC round.
This competition will be run three times throughout the summer and there will be a points challenge for the ones who have the most points across the three competitions.
(You do not have to do all 3 competitions but we hope you will!)
Dogs to be kept on a lead at all times. Please bring water supplies.

Entries are only accepted on this basis.
The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health & safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials & stewards.

- The event will be run in accordance with the current Pony Club Eventing Rules. Please go to http://www.pcuk.org/index.php/dcs_information/rule_books for details.
- The committee cannot be held responsible for any damage, loss or injury to persons, horses or property.
- The decisions of the committee and judges are final.
- Riding hats and body protectors complying with current Pony Club Eventing Rules, and footwear with heels, must be worn. Hats and body protectors will be checked when numbers are collected and entrants with non-compliant equipment will not be able to compete. Number bibs are required for all classes and medical armbands are advised. Tack checks may be carried out prior to competing.
- Correct PC/competition dress to be worn at mounted/unmounted prize giving
- All horses/ponies to be at least 5 years old.
- Non-Pony Club members are not covered by the Pony Club insurance policy. Every competitor must either be a member of the Pony Club or have third party liability insurance and be able to show evidence of such insurance if asked.
