No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

The Totnes & Bridgetown Races Company Limited
We are very grateful to our headline sponsor, the Totnes & Bridgetown Races Company Ltd. Dating from 1783, the Company ceased racing when its course at Totnes was requisitioned in 1939, but it continues to exist to the modern day,
primarily sponsoring hunter chases at Newton Abbot and Exeter and point-to-point races throughout Devon and Cornwall, as well as other events that promote equestrian and rural pursuits in South Devon, particularly those that engage young people.
A history of the Company from its early days in the 18th Century to its ongoing activities in the present time was compiled by the late Chairman, Peter Wakeham, in a book which includes over 70 photographs. Terms and Conditions
Rules
· The judges’ decisions are final. The course is subject to optimum time.
· Riding hats, body protectors, and boots with heels are to be worn.
· All horses and ponies are to be at least five years of age.
· All riders must have third party liability insurance.
· All riders must bring a supply of water for their horse or pony.
· Behaviour deemed by the judges to be unsafe or detrimental to equine welfare will result in disqualification.
· Riders under the age of 18 years are to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
· All riders or responsible adults if applicable are to inspect the ground prior to competition, and only proceed to competition if satisfied of its safety.
· Fence heights are approximate. All riders or responsible adults if applicable are to inspect the fences prior to competition, and only proceed to competition if satisfied of their safety and own ability.
· Lungeing is prohibited.
· Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times.
Health and Safety
Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.
Legal Liability
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event, the South Devon Hunt, the South Devon Hunt Supporters Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
