In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

Ring 2 – Showjumping. (entry £6 + booking fee per class)
Start time 10am
Classes 1-6 will be run as single phase.
Competitors will jump the whole course, unless they are eliminated. Second part of the course will be timed and approx 5cm higher, faults to be accumulated over both sections.
Class 1 Poles & crosses – Lead rein/assisted
Class 2 30cm – Lead rein
Class 3 30cm – Assisted
Class 4 40cm – Assisted
Class 5 50cm – Assisted
Class 6 60cm – Unassisted/no balance support reins.
Class 7 Horse & Hound – 7 & under – Fences up to 30cm
Class 8 Horse & Hound – 8 & over – Fences up to 40cm
Fences 1-5 jumped on pony, rider to dismount in allocated area collect the dog and complete the course of foot. (Dog section will be timed.)
RING 3: Hunter Trail. (entry £8 + booking fee per class)
Start time from Midday.
Competitors will jump the whole course and are timed, unless they are eliminated. (class 9 & 10 optimum time will be set to allow for trotting)
Class 9 Poles & crosses – Lead rein/assisted
Class 10 Fences up to 40cm – Assisted
Class 11 Fences up to 60cm – Unassisted/no balance support reins
Clear round jumping (entry £3 on the gate)
Time 9-10am. In SJ ring prior to competition start.
RING 3: Dressage. (entry £8 + booking fee per class)

Riders can take part at any time between 11am – 1pm – classes will run simultaneously.

RING 1: Fun Classes. (entry £5 + booking fee per class)
Start time Afternoon after Dressage
Class 18 Pony the judge would like to take home – Can be ridden or in hand
To start 20 minutes after.
Class 19 Fancy Dress – can be ridden or in hand.
• The Judges’ decisions are final in ALL rings. • Entries may be limited. • Pre entry via horse events, entries on the day where numbers allow, Entry fee on the day £8 per class and must have been pre entered in other classes. • Assisted is help with directions and support in the ring regarding ring craft this is not to be led in anyway including pony following/going next to runner. • Back Protectors must be worn for the hunter trials (Beta 2018) • Times are approximate. Please bring your horses passports/vaccination record to declarations and collect your numbers. Order of jumping will be by times on PC results please print numbers and display in number bib, Dressage can be bibs or bridle/numnah numbers.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Legal Liability: Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis
2. Health & Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards
3.The event will be run under Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2024 and it is the responsibility of the competitors to make sure that they understand and adhere to the rules. The competition is only open to Pony Club Branch and Centre members.
4. Please ensure that riding hats meet the current Pony Club standard, and are properly tagged with the pink hat tag.
5. Strictly NO mucking out onto the car park, please clear up horse walks/warm up areas.
6. Ages at 1st January 2024
7. The organisers reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any class.
8. The welfare of the horse/pony is the responsibility of the owner/rider, whether mounted or unmounted, and should be fit for the competition.
9. NO prams/pushchairs, wheelchairs or mobility vehicles allowed in any warm up area or horse walks.
10. No refunds will be made after the closing date.
11. No horses/Ponies tied to trailer/lorries unattended.
12.
