Refunds

Refund minus an admin fee of £10.00 up until Withdrawal date. After the Withdrawal date only refund if replaced from the wait list.

Event Cancelled by Organiser

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £30.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

Course description – A spectator friendly course, which is encouraging for horse and rider.

Prizes, rosettes, and dressage sheets are available for collection from the secretaries marquee.

Rosettes can be posted if an sae is left at the secretaries marquee.

Dressage sheets can be emailed if an email address is left at the secretaries marquee

Rosettes are from 1-8th.

Event Directions & additonal details

Directions

The event will be signposted from the A419 in both directions. DO NOT GO INTO FRAMPTON MANSELL. Take the turning by the Jolly Nice Farm shop towards Rodmarton, and the entrance is half a mile on the left.

All terrain vehicles and motorbikes will not be permitted.

Qualifiers

This event is a Qualifier for the Horse Events National Unaffiliated SEG & Young Horse Eventing Championships 2025 Incorporating:

* Amateur ONLY classes – Riders must meet eligibility criteria to ensure a true amateur class

* Open class for young horses – open to all levels of rider with horse 4, 5 or 6 years in their 1st or 2nd year of eventing.

* Schools Equestrian Games Eventing Championships – the Prestigious Schools Eventing series to find the Schools eventing champions.

Championships 20th & 21st September  – Dauntsey Park, Wiltshire. 80, 90 & 100cm

Terms and Conditions

Rules

  1. The horse trials will be run under national guidelines unless otherwise stated 
  2. It is compulsary that all riders wears hats / helmets conforming to current British standards. (PAS 015 MUST NOW BE 2011 and SNELL MUST BE 2016).
  3. It is compulsary that all riders wear body protectors for cross country conforming to current British standards. Please be aware the new standards as of January 2024.
  4. It is compulsory that every person entering the venue who is under the age of 18 years of age is accompanied by a responsible adult.
  5. All horses must be vaccinated on an annual basis. There must be 6 clear days between any vaccination injection given and the date of the event.
  6. We strongly advise not to bring your dog to the event site. Dogs must be kept at the vehicle in the lorry park at all times and not bought onto the competition site. The Only Dogs allowed on the competition site will be those of officials, event volunteers and these must be kept on leads at all times.
  7. It is compulsory that horseboxes are not to be mucked out on site.
  8. The Management / owners of the venue reserve the right to remove anyone from the course at any time for inappropriate behaviour.
  9. All horses/ponies must be 4 years and over.
  10. Riding horses is a high-risk sport and riders taking part in this event acknowledge this and do so at their own risk and that the organisers and land owners will not be accountable or responsible for any loss, damage or injury to rider, horse or equipment however caused, including Covid-19.
  11. Riders must be a minimum of 10 years old.
  12. The venue owner does not insure the rider, your horse or your tack and equipment. You are always strongly advised to have in place your own adequate personal accident insurance .
  13. The Venue, or anyone involved in the organisation of the event will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss to any person or their property however this may be caused, including Covid 19.
  14. Safe Guarding & Code of Conduct: We take this seriously at all Competitions.
  15. Health and safety – The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the rules and instructions of the organisers and stewards/officials. By entering the event you are agreeing to adhere to these protocols.
