Easter Show Jumping with The Old Berks Hunt Pony Club! Teams and Individual Show Jumping for all, members and non-members in an INDOOR school – plus TWO pairs competitions & THREE Qualifiers for Area 15 Mini Champs. Can’t wait!!

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £5.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

ENTRIES ● Entries will close on Friday 5th April. There will be no refunds after the close of entries without a vet’s or doctor’s certificate. ● Late entries will be accommodated if possible – please email: oldberkshire@pcuk.org ● Approximate start times will be available on Thursday 11th April 2024 at www.horse-events.co.uk ● Classes will be run as single phase with the second half of the course to be timed. Pairs classes to be timed from start of first rider to finish of second rider. ● Course Walks will take place prior to the start and at regular intervals throughout the day. ● No entries can be made after the start of the relevant class. All classes are open to adults and children. ● Combinations cannot take part in more than two full classes and 1 pairs class per day. Horses cannot take part more than once in each class or in more than three classes on the day. ● In the event of cancellation, £5 of the entry fee will be retained to defray costs. No refunds after the closing date. ● After the relevant closing date, no substitution may be made of horses or riders except in the case of illness, lameness or other unavoidable circumstances which must be certified in writing to the secretary. No substitutions once the class starts. ● A booking fee will be applied to all entries by Horse Events and a compulsory First Aider cover will be applied to every rider. ● Classes where declared are open to teams of 3 or 4 members (best 3 scores count). Team members will also be judged as individuals. The whole team will ride one after the other. No competitor may ride more than one horse or pony in each team. No horse/pony may jump in more than three classes. ● TEAM MANAGERS Please submit your team names/members to the Event Secretary at the email above no later than 1200 Monday 8th April. Individual entrants will be put into teams wherever possible.

● The Judge’s decision is final. Objections must be made in writing within 10 minutes of the results being published with a deposit of £20, refunded if objection is upheld. ● All Classes will run in accordance with The Pony Club Show Jumping 2024 Rule Book PUBLIC SAFETY AND EVENT LIABILITY When not being ridden all horses/ponies must be kept to the horse box park or collecting rings. No exercising in the car/lorry park, or among spectators. ● Combinations cannot take part in more than two full classes and 1 pairs class per day. Horses cannot take part more than once in each class or in more than three classes on the day. ● No lunging in the lorry park. ● No horses/ponies to be tied to trailers or lorries. ● NO DOGS ALLOWED ● All horses and ponies must be fully vaccinated against equine flu within the past 12 months, according to the Pony Club Vaccination rules. Spot checks may be made. ● The Organisers reserve the right to refuse an entry, restrict entries and make alterations when necessary

● All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The Old Berkshire Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
