Open to members and non-members, age 2 yrs and over, max 12 yrs old on 1st January 2025.
Smart Pony Club/riding kit. A prize will be awarded at each class for the the best turned out combination so dig out your show jackets and cleanest jods, polish everything, including your tack, and if you have long hair, don’t forget to tie it back, even better, wear a hair net!
Competitors may only enter two classes. Ponies can jump a maximum of 4 rounds – siblings sharing a pony can only jump a maximum of 2 classes each. All classes will be judged on a bogey time so only one round will be jumped and closest to the bogey time will win. Faults to be accumulated. Course walk before each class starts.
Sue Janaway is course builder and will be on hand to asssit OBHPC in the warm up when possible.
Classes 1 and 2, Clear Rounds. Rewards for every competitor.
Classes 3-5, 1-6th rosettes.
Best Turned Out combination in every class.
Prize giving will take place after each class.

Entries are only accepted on this basis.
- The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
- All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The Old Berkshire Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
First class will start at 10am onwards; times will be published not before 6pm on Thursday, 29th May.

- Maximum age of entrant 12 years old on 1st January 2025. Ponies may only be ridden by competitors and not by adults on the showground. No lunging on the showground.
- All horses/ponies must be vaccinated against equine influenza which complies with the conditions found here: https://pcuk.org/officials/health-and-safety/equine-welfare-and-veterinary/.
- All horses/ponies must have their passports with them. Spot checks will be made
- Hats to current Pony Club standard with a current tag for PC members must be worn.
- Body protectors are recommended for show jumping.
- Spurs & Padded Batons. ALL spurs worn must comply with Pony Club rules. Only those Pony Club competitors with a yellow hat tag are allowed to wear spurs. Only padded batons as specified in the PC Rules 2025 may be used anywhere on the showground. Misuse of spurs/padded batons by any competitor will be recorded and reported and may result in disqualification.

- Photographs: by entering this competition you agree to be photographed whilst competing; these photographs may be used for future publicity. If you do not wish to be photographed, please note it on your entry under Special Requests.
- The organisers reserve the right to cancel the show, alter classes, judges, time or any of the published information. In the event of a cancellation, entry fees will be refunded less non-refundable booking fee (Horse Events).
- The organisers reserve the right to refuse an entry, restrict entries and make alterations when necessary.
- Any abuse of horses/ponies, officials, other competitors or members of the public will not be tolerated and those found doing so will be asked to leave the venue with no compensation and may be reported to the relevant authority.

- No horses, ponies or children to be left unattended.
- Please clear up any droppings by lorry/trailer prior to leaving.
