N.E.H. N&TPC Mini & Open Huntertrial & Tetrathlon Ride

Prize giving for all classes (including tetrathlon & mini ht classes) will take place at the secretaries’ horsebox 30 minutes after the results have been posted.

Rosettes to 10^th place in classes 3-7.

CLASS 1 & 2             Run under Tetrathlon Rules 2024

CLASS 3 & 5             Undisclosed dressing fences and Optimum time

CLASS 4, 6 & 7         Optimum time

Rosettes to 6th place in classes 10-13. No competitor in Classes 10, 11, or 12 may compete in Classes 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7

Start times will be allocated and will be strictly adhered to the optimum times, course maps, numbers & start times will be posted on pony club results from 6pm on 4.4.24

PLEASE SUPPLY YOUR OWN NUMBER BIBS & RIDE NUMBERS (2 x A4) FOR ALL CLASSES (1 – 13 INCLUSIVE) All results will also be posted on the N&TPC website after the event  -https://branches.pcuk.org/newmarketandthurlow/ (Schedules, times & results) & Pony Club Results – wifi permitting!

GENERAL RULES: The Hunter Trials will be run in accordance with Pony Club Eventing Rules 2024 Classes 1 & 2, 8 & 9 will be run over Pony Club Tetrathlon Rules 2024 In any dispute the decision of the Official Steward shall be final. The Official Steward reserves the right to amend, alter or cancel all or any of the conditions without notice. It is the responsibility of every competitor to ensure that their hat and body protector complies with The Pony Club 2024 Rules which is compulsory for all competitors. These will be checked & any competitor not wearing one that complies with current Pony Club standards will NOT be able to compete. If your hat is NOT tagged with the current PINK hat tag please go, unmounted, with your hat to the collecting ring steward. N.B. NEW RULE:  BODY PROTECTOR RULE FOR 2024 FOR ALL CLASSES – PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ALL BODY PROTECTORS MUST MEET BETA 2018 LEVEL 3 STANDARD (BLUE & BLACK LABEL) WHIP RULE:  Please adhere to Pony Club Whip Rules 2024: The whip must be “padded”.  The maximum length of the whip is 70cm and must be no less than 45cm.  Excessive use of the whip anywhere at the venue will result in disqualification. ALL HORSES/PONIES MUST BE FULLY & CORRECTLY VACCINATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PONY CLUB EVENTING RULE BOOK 2024 PASSPORTS WILL BE RANDOMLY CHECKED.  IF YOU DO NOT COMPLY YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPETE AND THERE WILL BE NO REFUND. NO HORSES MAY GO ON THE POINT TO POINT COURSE No horse may compete more than once in each class (except sibling ‘horse share’ in Tet classes) No horses or ponies must be left unaccompanied at any time. Horseboxes with gas cookers/rings must be used with caution, entirely at the owner’s risk. No person may sit on, or climb, any jump or fence. No dogs allowed. There will be a Clear Round SJ available for all Mini Hunter Trial and Beanies/Mini Tetrathlon competitors. This will be adjacent to the Mini XC Arena. Please bring cash to pay on the day. £10.00 per round.
