All ponies/horses will jump the course in front of the judge. All ponies (except those who are eliminated) will be asked to come back into the arena where they will then do an individual show under the same judge for the final judging to take place. Boots can be worn during the jumping phase, but must be removed for the confirmation judging. Grooms must wear a hat.

SWPA QUALIFIER – SWPA Qualifier classes 1-10 inclusive, 15-24 inclusive 26 & 27
Enter one of the qualifying classes at this show.
If you are placed first or second in the class, you should be given a qualifying card.
1) Fill in the information required on the front of the card.
2) Register with Showing Scene if not already registered. This is Free
3) Join SWPA via www.showingscene.com as a 2025 Member
4) Take a picture of the card and upload to the relevant Championship Class
(Championship Classes are 1 – 134 on Saturday of the Championships)
Please Note:
Membership Fee for the 2025 Championships is £25 which includes two adults and
all children at the same address and all equines owned or leased by the family.
SUNSHINE TOUR QUALIFIER – ALL classes are qualifiers bar CLASS 25
These shows are qualifiers for The Sunshine Tour Championships held at The All-England Showground, Hickstead from Thursday 12th – Sunday 14th September 2025. The Championships are for unaffiliated Showing for lead rein, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more.
Registration of qualification must be completed within 1 month of competition (sooner for late July shows). Restrictions apply to both horse and competitor’s previous winnings and amateur status, please check the website for Terms & Conditions.

SDDS QUALIFIER – SDDS Qualifier classes 1-4 inclusive, 6-9 inclusive, 16-20 inclusive & 24 – PLUS 2 wildcards for us to give out on the day.
This show is a qualifier for the South Downs Showing Series Finals to be held at 2025 Denmead Autumn Show on 14 September
Finalists must fill in the relevant section of their invitation letter and forward it to DHS to register their win. This does not commit them to entering the Final just ensures they receive a Finalists pack. When it comes to entering a Final, competitors must take care that they have entered the most suitable category for their horse/pony. Ie whilst they may have won a ‘Pony/horse specific’ Invitation the size or age criteria of the final may mean they need to switch Finals.
CHAMPIONSHIP 1st & 2nd place to go forward to championship.
BRITISH STANDARD APPROVED HARD HATS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHEN MOUNTED. Full and correct attire must be worn by all competitors when competing. For jumping all competitors and grooms, when mounted, must wear a British Standard skull/hard hat, which must be fastened.
FIRST AID
Certified first aider on site but in case of a serious accident a 999 call will be made for an ambulance to attend.
REFRESHMENTS
The cafe will be open for food and refreshments.
REFUNDS
No refunds given without a veterinary certificate.
KEEP THE SHOWGROUND CLEAN
Competitors are requested, prior to leaving, to clean up any droppings, hay, straw or shavings from around their horsebox/trailer
COLTS ALLOWED – NO STALLIONS
The SHOW and the LANDOWNER shall be under NO LIABILITY for any loss, injury or damage to competitors, onlookers, their property, vehicles, horses or ponies. The decision of the Organiser is final.
The SHOW reserves the right to cancel, add to or amend any of the classes as it thinks fit and to alter advertised times and refuse entry without stating reasons. PLEASE CHECK OUR FACEBOOK PAGE REGULARLY.
