This class will be split into 2 sections: assisted and unassisted. The XC will be an encouraging course running between 2 adjacent fields and predominantly within view.

Mini One Day EventDressage will not start before 9am. GATES OPEN 8AM.
Pre entries only – £37 per combination (£35 LHPC members) to include medical fee
Late entries £40 per combination.
This event will involve riding the PC D Level Walk & Trot Dressage Test 2012 and jumping both a cross county and show jumping course. The dressage test may be called. For dressage test go to https://resources.pcuk.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/pony-club-d_level_walk_and_trot_dressage_test_2012.pdf
Riders must wear a correct standard body protector for cross country. Pony Club Members must have hats tagged with official Pony Club pink tag prior to the event. Dressage and Show jumping should be in jacket & tie. For XC Cross Country colours or PC sweatshirts to be worn. As this is a very novice event any normal riding bit and martingale can be used. A whip can be carried in all 3 phases (short whip for SJ and XC).

Class 2: PC D Level (Walk & Trot) Dressage Test 2012, maximum 60cm show jumping and cross-country courses. This class will be split into 2 sections: A – assisted and B- unassisted.
Course Walk from 4pm on Friday 9th August, gates will be locked at 8pm. The course will not be deemed to be complete until 9am on the day of the competition.
Although we encourage competitors to keep to their times given this event is designed to encourage novice riders there will be a degree of flexibility allowed for SJ and XC times.
Rosettes: 1st – 6th in each class/section.
Best dressage in each section.
Best Ledbury in each section.

- The Judge’s decision is final.
- All classes to be run under Pony Club rules.
- Health & Safety Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
- Legal Liability Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
- Hats with chinstrap fastened MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHEN MOUNTED and meet Pony Club standards PAS015 2011 and Snell E2016. Pony Club Members must have hats tagged with official pink Pony Club tag prior to the event.
- BODY PROTECTORS MUST BE WORN FOR CROSS COUNTRY. Beta 2018 Level 3 standard (blue and black label).
- Ages as at 1st January 2024.
- Spurs are not allowed in Class 1.
- All children competing in the ODE must have attained their 4th birthday by the 1st January 2024.
- Horses and Ponies must be 4 years old and over.
- The committee will not be responsible for any loss or injury to any person, property or animal howsoever caused.
- Any objections must be handed to the secretary in writing within 30 minutes of the incident together with a deposit of £20 which will be returned if the objection is sustained.
- No cantering allowed around showground, warming up should take place in the appropriate area.
- Refunds will only be given up to the closing date Sunday 3rd August 2024 minus admin fee. Refunds will only be given after the closing date on receipt of a valid veterinary/doctor’s certificate.
- In the event of cancellations entries will be refunded minus £5 cancellation fee. Refunds will be processed onto the cards they were paid for on.
- The committee reserves the right to cancel or alter any classes.
