Open Team and Individual Show Open to Members and Non-Members

Show Jumping Classes All classes are indoors. In all classes competitors jump the whole course with the second part to be timed.

Times and Bib Numbers

Individuals Classes 1 to 5 1st – 8th Place, Classes 6 & 7 1st to 6th Place. Teams 1st – 6th Place – classes 1-5 only

Rules and Entry Conditions

All Classes to be run under the PC Show Jumping Rules Entries are accepted and admission granted only subject to the following conditions, which are deemed to have been accepted by each competitor: All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis. All entries and changes must be done online, before the close of entries. If you would like to edit your horse or rider details before the closing date of the event please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘MY BOOKING’ Tab. If you would like to change the class please email info@horse-events.co.uk  and if there is space available we will do this for you. For ALL changes of horse and rider substitutions after the closing date there is a £5 charge please fill out the following form online at: https://www.horse-events.co.uk/rider-horse-substitutions-form/ The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards. It is a condition of entry that each competitor shall indemnify the above mentioned against such matter aforesaid. Dress & Saddlery Rules – as per the Pony Club Show Jumping Rules. A copy of the Pony Club Show Jumping Rules will be with the Secretary. The judge’s decision is final. Any objection must be made in writing to the Secretary with a deposit of £20 no later than 20 minutes after the end of the class. The deposit will only be returned if the objection is upheld. The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry without stating a reason for doing so and also reserve the right to eliminate any competitor who in their opinion places her/himself or others in danger or fails to observe rules. Entry fees will only be refunded on production of a vet or doctor’s certificate up to the closing date of the competition. The organiser reserves the right to withhold £3.00 per entry if the entry has to be cancelled for any reason. Horses or ponies must be 5 years or over on the day of the show and no stallions without written permission from the DC. No horses or ponies may be ridden other than by the competitor on the day of the competition. Horses and ponies must be ridden at a walk unless in a competition or warm-up area. All dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times. All droppings and hay to be picked up and taken home. No horse/ponies are to be left unattended when tied to the lorry/trailer. In the event of cancellation notification will be posted on the Hursley PC website. Monies will be refunded less £3.00 per entry administration fee. All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club Insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The Hursley Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you. There will be a photographer at this event. It is the responsibility of any individual not wishing to be photographed to notify them directly.

Terms and Conditions

Liability:  Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

Health and Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present.
