Additional Details

Ride your hobby horse around a set course of jumps. Placings are first to sixth. The class will be judged on time, faults and style. Points for stator will be awarded for riding position and correct control of the horse as well as rhythm. Each round will be timed and the aim is to get the fewest faults in the quickest time. Faults are awarded for an error of course, knocking a pole or refusing a jump. Although the aim of for a fast, clear round, don’t sacrifice style for speed as the style marks count too.

Competitors may be assisted.

We want to be inclusive and introduce as many people as possible to the fun of hobby horsing, so don’t worry if you have a hobby dinosaur or unicorn, all are welcome.

Shorter sticks are recommended, as are trainers or comfortable running shoes.
