Please print your numbers (available from the link on Pony Club Results) and bring your own bib – front and back must be clear to read. Dogs must be on leads at ALL times and NO dogs on the XC course on Competition day.
Prize giving will be unmounted 20 minutes after all results are live on Pony Club Results, please come dressed in XC attire. Individual rosettes to 6th place and Pairs rosettes to 4th place.
Course walk starts on Friday evening at 5-6.30pm and is allowed on the day, but please be aware of competitors.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY This event is open to ALL.
This event is run under the Pony Club Eventing rules 2025.
Riders having had three refusals at one jump, may continue onto the remainder of the course (unless asked to leave by an official), but must give way to other riders.
The decision of the judges and committee is final.
Optimal time will be available under class information on Pony Club Results
No horse/pony may go around the main course more than twice. H.C. = A person may enter any class but will not be eligible for prizes. • All non-Pony Club riders must hold their own insurance.
Riders may not ride more than 2 horses/ponies. A horse/pony may be ridden by 2 riders in the same or different classes, but no horse/pony may compete in more than 2 classes in total.
Jockey skullcap must be worn for XC riding (no fixed peaks), with chinstrap fastened when mounted and must conform to PAS015: 2011 with BSI Kitemark, VG1 with BSI Kitemark, or AS/NZS 3838 1998, 2003 or 2006 standard.
ALL HATS MUST BE/BRC/ PONY CLUB TAGGED. (2023 PINK TAG). No recording devices. Stopwatches are permitted.
Pony Club members can only wear spurs if they have the yellow hat tag.
BODY PROTECTORS LEVEL 3 must be worn cross-country. BETA 2018 level 3 standard (blue & black label). Air jackets may be worn in addition to a body protector, but not on their own. BODY CAGES: keys must be left with the organiser who will give them to the medical team.
DRESS: Pony Club sweatshirt or XC colours. No earrings allowed. Anyone assisting (i.e. leading/running alongside a competitor) must wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
