Refunds
No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
Event Cancelled by Organiser
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

Pre-entry only Entries Close Saturday 26 October or earlier if classes are full. No lead reins will be allowed except in class 1 & 2
ENTRY FEES: Classes 1,2 & 3 £12, Classes 4 – 7 £14
Entry for classes 1-7 will be restricted, late entries may be permitted if numbers allow at £5 extra.
Submission of entry denotes acceptance of the rules.
Please DO NOT phone Brook Farm on the day and ask them which class we are on.
Mobile reception at the venue is poor so please check the website so you have a rough guide to timings. Thank you.

Timings
DRAWN ORDER: For all classes – Times will be published prior to the event and these can be found on Pony Club Results
NUMBER BIBS: You will be required to print your own bib numbers and bring them with you to the event. A template will be made available to you on Pony Club Results once times have been published. Alternatively competitors can write their number on an A4 piece of paper, but it must be clearly legible. Please remember to print one for each side of your number bib. You will need to have your own Number Bib which you will need to buy if you don’t have one.
Rosettes
ROSETTES: Rosettes will be awarded to 8th place in each class according to entries
Terms and Conditions
1. The competition will be run under Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2024. The decision of the judge is final.
2. Hats must be compliant with the current Pony Club rules please check Hat Rule 2024 for details.
3. Hair must be tied back securely, hairnets preferred.
4. Horses/ponies must be 5 years old or over. No Horse or pony may enter more than 3 classes
5. In all Pony Club Show Jumping, excessive use of the whip including repeated slapping down the shoulder is prohibited. The rules state that the whip may be used a maximum of three times after entering the arena. Excessive use may result in elimination at the discretion of the Judges.
6. All non Pony Club members are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Essex Hunt North Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you.
7. No refunds after closing date
8. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
9. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
10. All horses and ponies must be fully vaccinated against equine flu according to the Pony Club Rules.
