Teams consist of 4 riders; best 3 scores to count.
Team manager access is available to view entries and assign teams online, if you have not used this before please request team manager permission on the booking form.
- The Show jumping will be run in accordance with the current Pony Club SJ Rules 2025. Please go to http://www.pcuk.org/index.php/dcs_information/rule_books for details.
- Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone by whom in law they are responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners or riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract, or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
- The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
- Spectators and competitors attend entirely at their own risk.
- All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and should have their own third party cover and be able to show this if asked. The Dartmoor Branch of the Pony Club and the organisers are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you.
- Any behaviour deemed detrimental to the horse, bad language, or behaviour will not be tolerated and will risk elimination without refund.
- All horses/ponies to be at least 5 years old.
- Riding hats complying with current Pony Club Rules, and footwear with heels, must be worn. Hats and tack checks will be carried out prior to entry in to the ring. Non-compliance = No entry!
- Number bibs are required for all classes. Numbers available from pony club results when times are published.
- Correct PC/competition dress to be worn at mounted/unmounted prize giving
- Competitors will be responsible for the control of their animals at all times and will be liable for any veterinary/farriery expenses incurred on the day.
- The organisers reserve the right to vary the order and composition according to circumstance if necessary.
- Objections to the secretary within 30 minutes of any incident with a £10 deposit, non-refundable if over-ruled.
- The decisions of the committee and judges are final
- All dogs to be on short leads at all times. All mess should be picked up and disposed of appropriately.
- We respectfully ask you not to muck your lorries or trailers out the field.
