Jumps approx 40-50cm. The course will be in two parts. The first round will be jumped by the horse and rider and will then be followed by the dog and runner. Time will be added for knock downs. The winner will be the pair with the fastest accumulative rounds

You may be required tojump one or two fences approx 60-70cm high
Use your imagination but all costumes must incorporate a suitable riding hat

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £3.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

- When mounted, riders must wear hard hats conforming to the Pony Club fules for 2024.
- Show jumping classes run under Pony Club Rules for Show Jumping 2024
- For all other classess, the Pony Club Standards for 2024 apply.
- On day of show ponies may only be ridden by riders competing in the show.
- No lunging in the warm up areas or lorry park
- Dogs must be kept on short leads at all times
- Do not drop litter
- Do not muck out your lorry/trailer onto the showground. Take your hay and muck home please.
- The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without giving reason, cnacel or alter the classes and times.
- the organisers decision is final in all matters. Any objection must be made in writing within 30 mins of the results being announced and be accompanied by a deposit of £10.
- No pony may be entered more than once in any class other than the clear round jumping and no pony may compete in more than 3 jumping classes.
- Riders in lead rein classes may not compete off lead in non lead rein classes. Lead reins to be be attached to the noseband only.
- When outside show rings and warm up areas ponies must be ridden only at walk.
- All class times are approximate and are given as a guide oly
- Competitors may be allowed to leave a class temporarity in order to compete in other classses at the judge’s discretion..
- Horses and ponies must not be left unattended when tied up to lorries/trailers.
- Rude or offensive language/behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Misuse of whips, spurs or bit will be deemed offensive behaviour and the competitor will be eliminated from the whole competition.
- Insurance – all non pony club competitors are not covered by the pony club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The organising branch and the committee of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
- Legal Liability – Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of the event nor the Pony Club not any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, not hte landlord, his tenant(s) or his licensee accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectatiors, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
- Health, Safety and Welfare – The Organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present, For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of teh Organiser and all the Officials and Stewards.
