Directions to Venue
The venues on Bakewell Showground.
Entrance is via Agricultural Way, off the A6, just before the Agricultural Business Centre and Bakewell Livestock Market.
From Buxton – follow A6 into Bakewell. At the roundabout go straight staying on A6. Turn left into Agricultural Way and follow road to the venue.
From Matlock – follow A6 towards Bakewell. just on the outskirts of the town centre turn right onto Agricultural Way and follow road to the venue.
From Chesterfield – follow A619 to Bakewell. In Bakewell go over the bridge and at the roundabout turn left onto the A6 (towards Matlock). Turn left into Agricultural Way and follow road to the venue.
PLEASE NOTE – The venue field is notoriously boggy after heavy rain therefore please avoid.

If you wish to have your photo taken please let the organiser know at the beginning of the ride and we will give your bib number to the professional photographer. You may then view and pay for your photograph after the event by searching the website below.

Thank you for your entry to our ride, your bib number will be allocated to you on arrival. Please note your flu and passport details may be checked at the gate on arrival.
- You may start your ride anytime between 9am and 11am.
- The route will be marked with chalk arrows but please take your map too. Not all gates will be manned.
- Facilities – Refreshments available to purchase. Toilet on site. No water.
- Please act courteously and with common sense regarding pedestrians, cyclists etc you meet on this ride, especially along the Monsal Trail.
- Horses should wear RED tail ribbons if they may kick and GREEN if they are nervous/excitable.
- If you want to overtake another rider you must ask first and pass slowly and with care.
- Please take all litter and droppings home with you.
Rules for 18yr olds and under
Riders aged 16 or under should have a parent or guardian escort with them on the ride.
Riders 18 or under should have a parent of guardian at the event site.
