For teams wanting to compete for the Junior Cumbria Shield members must be under 13 yrs of age on 01/01/24, PC clubs residing in Cumbria and be a currant PC member

Teams competing for the Senior Cumbria Shield must be paid up members of a PC club in Cumbria. Max of two juniors may be in a team but they must ride a different pony from class 5

Teams to consist of 3 or 4 riders.
Three team members must go clear in the first round to qualify for the jump off. All team members will then jump off.
The best three scores from each round will count towards the final score.
In classes 5 & 7 all teams will jump the first round then the course will go up 5cm for the jump off.
Teams may enter as many classes as they want but no pony/horse can be in more than one team per class.
Team members may be changed for different classes.
This competition is run under Pony Club Show Jumping Rules.
Regulations
All persons entering, competing or otherwise taking part in these classes shall be considered as having read and accepted the following regulations:-
Classes will be judged in accordance with Pony Club rules.
Competitors should be appropriately turned out.
PC Sweatshirts are acceptable
The Judges decision is final.
The Cumberland Farmers North Branch of the Pony Club reserve the right to add/remove classes from the schedule.
Riding Hats must be properly secured and be up to the current Pony Club standard with the relevant kite mark.
Spur rule applies to Pony Club members.
Vaccinations are 12months
A spot check of passports will take place at your vehicle, any horse without a passport or with incorrect vaccinations will not be allowed to compete.
A competitor may be disqualified at any stage and future entries may be refused:
a) for dangerous riding
b) for misuse of whip or spur or ill-treatment of the horse
c) if the horse is lame, sick or exhausted
d) for unseemly behaviour, including bad language
Objections must be lodged within 10 minutes of the results being posted. Any objection must be accompanied by £10 which will be refunded if the objection is upheld.

Entries are only accepted on this basis.
2. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
3. All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The CFHN Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you. Please listen to the ring steward who will call you forward at your time. No more than 5 competitors in the warm up area at one time.
